    When I was about her age I was swimming with my dad at Huntington Beach (strong rips).
    We were swimming together when suddenly a huge wave hit me, I was deeply underwater.
    Suddenly I felt strong hands on my waist pushing me up and out of the water.
    At first I thought it was my dad, but it was a lifeguard.
    We had been pulled out too far, I’m guessing that he signaled for help because he couldn’t get himself and me back to shore without help.
    It was a little embarrassing for me, but that lifeguard definitely saved me!
    I’ll never forget it.

    When I was little, I went out in the water swimming freestyle straight out to sea to see how far I could go. I ended up smacking something with my hand that felt like very rough sand paper and it was thick. I looked up startled, and saw a small grey mass and a fin poking out the water. I think it was a baby shark because it darted away, probably scared. I immediately swam back to shore as fast as I could and didn’t say a word to anybody thinking I’d be in trouble lol. It’s so crazy looking back on it, I actually slapped a shark on accident.

      @maxhedrick311 juveniles are often more curious and i suspect less likely to just swim off like that- though im no expert!! Maybe it was just a smaller type of shark. Thats super cool though omg

    I was a life guard in my teens and I cant help but watch not only my own kids, but every soul in the water. I have been lucky enough to have a few saves under my belt. There is no way I could see people in yhe water and not keep a constant eye on them. I have seen people have seizures and fall over in to the water.

      @anja6983 Month ago

      Is it dangerous? It just hurts right?

    • @d00delicious14
      @d00delicious14 Month ago +3

      The color of the sign is pretty standard for any danger, like high voltage signs, even on bottles that contains acid or is toxic I feel most of them are yellow/orange as well. Beside why would they put up a sign if it wasn't something you should be aware of?

    • @d00delicious14
      @d00delicious14 Month ago

      @anja6983 I don't think they are dangerous, but definitely something people would like to know of, so they themself can make a decision if they want to go into or near the water

    • @Deutschehordenelite
      @Deutschehordenelite Month ago

      @d00delicious14 Hmm might be regional, in german that's how town signs are, with that shade of yellow lol. A lot of people seem to be tourists, a lot don't even speak any english. Nowadays you can check with smartphones, but people didn't use to and where not and are still not aware. Evidence: this video.

      I hate when we get 32 celcius and I think we once had something in the 40s celcius but I just didn't go out those days if I was home. I can take -38 celcius but I don't like intense heat (we have heat waves mostly when my family and I are out camping so we mostly really feel it when we are out of the trees but underneat(?) them it's bearable (we were once playing a game of pool mixed with soccer and we had to stop after 30 min bc the heat was getting unbearable (it was a heat wave of 46 celcius and out in the open) my younger cousins and I went to the pool right after)).

    As an English person if I saw the warning notice about the blue bottles I would be looking for flies. Bluebottles in the UK are largish flies. I think the woman who wanted to stay in the lifeguards station just wanted somewhere to rest out of the sun,I bet she had not been stung at all.

    "Everything exists with its opposite, we must remember death sometimes so that we can understand the value of life. Let's seek to live life in the right way and prepare for death in the right way.
    We must believe in the Creator and all his prophets, It is important for us to try to find the Creator and turn to him, He gave us reason, conscience and will and set us free, It would be good for us to approach this issue openly, We can do some more research in many ways to improve ourselves on this subject.
