- Yo! I'm back with Plants Vs. Zombies, with my first ever PvZ2 remix! This was featured in a 12-person collaboration that remade the whole soundtrack of the second game, named "Plants vs. Zombies 2 POWERED UP!" (link below). I was asked to participate, and I chose to cover the Ancient Egypt track, as it is Laura Shigihara's last ever track composed for the PvZ franchise.
As always, I tried my best to keep the vibe of the original track, whilst adding my own twist and elements to it. This proved to be quite difficult as the original track is already quite complete. The lack of instruments used was also a big factor when composing this, though I got used to it after some hours of work. Hope you enjoy my rendition!

The ancient egypt theme is definitely the best Pvz2 theme by far and your remix is just epic, keep it up!
Yeah, I always wondered why I thought the ancient egypt theme was better than the rest. Turns out it's because it's by the same artist who produced the music for the first game, while the rest of the music in PvZ2 isn't.
I understand that everyone has different tastes in music and I probably shouldn't discredit the rest of the music in PvZ2 just because it's not made by the person who made the music for the first game, I mean they're not all bad. But to me at least, the ancient egypt theme is the only theme in PvZ2 that feels like a classic Plants vs Zombies theme.

@@SomeSleepingBudIt was still one of my favorites before I knew who produced it though. However, I did forget about modern day, and will admit that music is pretty damn amazing. Neon mixtape tour's music is also fairly good.
@@little_lost_demon that's understandable, I was actually referring to the "other" people that are so annoying, sometimes it's sad to be one of those rare people who's more into pvz2 music either fanmade or official than the first one, just to see nostalfans forcing their opinion as a "fact"
