I have never seen Caitlin Clark so dominant and her superb communication with the other Indiana Fever players resulting in another win over Phoenix Mercury. I hope Indiana Fever qualifies to the next stage, and the next until the finals.
Poor defense in the 3rd quarter probably due to tired legs of the first 5 as they almost played the first two quarters without substitutuon enabled Mercury to close the scores. I remember that at one time in this game that Caitlin Clark asked for a substitution as she was so exhausted. This just shows that players time in the court was not properly managed to enable the first 5 to compete at the highest level, that is to play with the same intensity in both offense and defense in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Just a 2 minute break will be of great help in enabling a player to recuper and freshen her legs.
