Oh yes, first one to comment. Thanks to Payal for all your dedication to ensuring the screen ratio is right. And thanks to the entire team behind this masterpiece! Harshit Bansal, Anshika, Samraj Agarwal, Prince Majithiya, Rishabh Joshi, Brian Dongardive, KUDOS!
I saw the movie in Montreal last month. Since then have been following Payal's team through all interviews. But i must say this one was really where i learned so much. Thanks
Loved Payal's insights about how she perceives cities and places: who you explore it with builds a personal connection to a place, and Kani's point about observing quirks about certain places you visit while in solitude strengthens the analysis. Additionally, the details about their approach to the pre-production process through sound design is genuinely very interesting. Overall too, this is a treasure trove of insights into the filmmaking process in general. Thank you for this roundtable, HoC! (Loved "All We Imagine As Light", and no wonder all the brains behind it are so creative!)
I watched The Hollywood Reporter Roundtable,Then Sucharita's two interview sessions (one with Payal and then With the whole team of All we imagine as light)and now this...Can listen whole day Payal Ji,Divya Ji,Chaya ji,And Kani ji talking and talking❤ and Here we Have Ranabir Da😯😄
Payal talks about films like fandry and pa ra's films but sadly her own films have very upper caste perspective of life. It would be better if she focuses on making films which looks critically in the lives of the background she comes from rather than try to portray patronising look out of marginalalised characters
