There is a bug. Lvl 5 pal gets extra attack per action point. lvl 5 warlock with hexblade subclass gets extra attack. These buffs shouldn't stack, even the game itself says it, but they do, so you get 3 attacks per action point. And vl 2 warrior gives you action surge for one more action point. So, he got 2*3=6 attacks, which is not impressive actually. I managed to pull out 12 in one turn without anything bugged with monk/rogue/warrior

Why does every end-game build look like it has 100500 attacks per turn when only fighter gets improved extra attack and the rest of the classes are only upposed to have 2, well 3 with haste. What is going on in this game
You could save Hopes sister? I need to replay the fight. He was cakewalk for me too. Slow on Gale is all I needed. He cast slow on 7 creatures including Rafael and flew back to the room. Yugir seeing you Wyll and Karlach charging toward the horde he's in: I'm out I'm out I'm out I'm out I'm out I-
When I fought Raphael literally everyone except my party died. Korilla was murdered by the big man when I recruited him and in Rachael's death blossom he fucking murdered the big man and hope. I was just surrounded by corpses and it was such a narratively twisted moment for the House of Hope that I didnt even bother reloading to save her. It was just a bitter fight.
The boss fight music ending as soon as Raphael died was on point.
None of this stuff works now. Perilus strikes and the 3 attack warlock paladin. But ty for the info that the bomb hits all towers!
the barrel exploding just as the song hit, that was cool even if it did no damage
3:05 ...did he say "my tomb?" That would be awfully self-aware for Raphael XD
I must be doing something wrong bc my guys do not have near the HP this squad does
Sorry, Hope’s sister, I need you for Bloodlust fodder
I couldn't save Korilla in my most recent playthrough because Yurgir fucking stomped her into the floor before anyone could act.
I don't get how he is getting that much damage and accuracy I had to action surge haste with Gale to only deal Like a 3rd
I must be playing this game wrong because it took me 30 minutes to beat him.
Lots of cool things here, I had never really looked at the tiger barb until just now, might have to give that a go!
I feel like I DEFINITELY knocked out her sister during my fight, hoping that they could reconcile and all that fun stuff, but it still said that she died for me. I thought, "Oh well, guess she just dies," but you say she can be saved?? I already beat the game. It's far away at this point. ^^;
Raphael: It will only take a moment to kill you.
If anyone goes all in on the sex scene with the incubus in the healing room, you’ll get a hilarious bit here where you insult Raphael’s sex talent
I tried to use the runepowder against Ansur. Didnt go well.
I used runepowder barrel too, but sadly I wasn't able to save Korilla nor Hope... they both perished... I was too lazy to reload and fight again, so... RIP dwarf sisters 💔
i am finding out that i have been playing this game horribly wrong
Bro singing a whole musical while you fight.
Wouldn't it be nice to make this home base upon going with karlach and wyll?
I'm a little baffled why Punish Divinity didn't trigger, shutting all of that down. Raphael still has a reaction. "Sluggardly" is supposed to protect against opportunity attacks, not shut down all reactions.
With durge play through oath breaker paladin Raphael got hurt pretty badly I think off his arms
This is genius, might also be easier with the fact I steal his armor in act 1
Can someone please explain the mechanics of how he was able to do so many attacks in one turn?
There is a bug. Lvl 5 pal gets extra attack per action point. lvl 5 warlock with hexblade subclass gets extra attack. These buffs shouldn't stack, even the game itself says it, but they do, so you get 3 attacks per action point.
And vl 2 warrior gives you action surge for one more action point.
So, he got 2*3=6 attacks, which is not impressive actually. I managed to pull out 12 in one turn without anything bugged with monk/rogue/warrior
@@artenderer I wanna hear about that monk build!
@@artendereryeah I need to hear about this too lol
@ewe_e- if I had to guess:
3 rouge subclass thief and at least 2 monk and 2 fighter (one of them at least 5);
2 attacks for class at level 5
4 attacks from fury of blows/thief extra bonus action
2 more attacks with action surge
And if hasted
2 extra attacks normal plus extra 2 for the action surge
Mine was somewhat similar. Main difference was that I threw a Hold Monster on Raphael to sweeten the pot. Yeah, he shakes it off on his turn, but my paladin went before him and...well, smite crit + smite crit + smite crit (thank you haste spell!) = Mephistopheles has one less birthday to keep track of.
love the perfectly timed runepowder explosion
Wow. Not only did you persuade Yurgir to join to your side, he also got the highest initiative roll. 😆
This is one of the GOATgames. My all time favorite with over 600 hours😢
Would've like to have this, I was trying to spare her sister. Yurgir has... other plans
remember 1 turn is really 6 seconds so Raphael was outright butchered.
my first boss foght i used divine itervantion to nuke the entire room...Hope sadly died but in a future i hope that i'll save her and her sister
Wish the song played on loop during the battle ngl
2:52 that was a Final Fantasy limit break
Nice of you to let him finish his sing first.
Might I get a build sheet if one isn't posted? I noticed paladin, warlock and fighter I'm assuming. Maybe cleric somewhere in there? I'm just tryna smite 6 times in a turn too 😂
I went in my last run planning to knock her out but uger just obliterated her in the opening round
All Cambions ( your first priority) have 80-90% chance and Rafael himself had 49. I didn’t even need overpowered spells. Even Tasha’s laughter worked twice on Rafael.
Yurgir always attacked Korilla first killing her when i did this way :/
My brother and I just fought him. It was so much fun!
Me: Dwarf Paladin
Him: Human Sorcerer
Gale: Cleric/Wizard
Karlach: Fighter
I ended my fight with Raphael turn 3 by pushing him off the ledge outside
And thats why i do not want to use perilous stakes. That skill is broken af
That bomb went at the right moment with the music xD
I've got the runepowder bomb still.. ima use it like this lol
I had no idea you could save her sister
Amazing performance !
Ohhh... That paladin pwoer is so strong. I first thought you gonna do 1 hit and do the entire health pool of dmg and just 1 shot raphael
We need Hope in our lives.
Wait, wait wait... you can get Yurgir as an ally for the end-battle? :O Woooooot! So doing this on my next playthrough!
Destroy 4 pillars. Use magic bow ( got it from Gortash’s steel watcher at Steel Watcher Foundry )make Raphael stun for a moment.
Dude uses fly to go from behind to in front one a weak enemy and nobody bats an eye.... I get the lulz from the explosion, but every other battle decision was so sadly done. Uses rage for Karlach AFTER the main fight?
