Hi - very informative video about Wishlist plus thank you ! I want to create a reference catalogue website so would not need the shopping cart feature but would need the wishlist feature instead - can Shopify be modified this way or should I be looking at another website model altogether? Wishlist icon is visible but it seems empty even after added products in wishlist, it's not giving access to to browse wishlist items

This is half you need to edit sone css codes in order to have the wishlist icon appeared next to the cart or have the access to it

What's the difference between add to cart and add to wishlist?

Add to cart means they are checking the price or about to go through the initiate checkout/purchase option - higher intent. Wishlist is something they hope to get in the future, maybe for the holidays, but not right now.
