With the picnic areas, Lagoon lets you bring in your own food, coolers, blankets, events tents for free and you can set it up and leave it unattended all day. They are the only theme park I’ve been to that lets you do this, it’s great!
The portions of beer and food are big, that’s always a plus!!! The rides like amazingly fun… btw thank you guys for all the Disneyland vacation tips, they came in handy when we went!!!
You definitely get your money's worth of food and drinks! And glad to know our Disney tips came in handy! Stay tuned and we'll have more Disney stuff coming as the summer moves along.
You should have covered the family rides more - Lagoon has a huge selection of rides in the center that are well themed, and the whole family can ride together. I'm glad you had fun!
Never have had a funnel cake at Lagoon, but my family enjoyed splitting the cookie dough funnel cake at the Hungry Bear on our last Disneyland trip. It all depends on what you like on top (fruit, cookie pieces, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, etc). I’m glad Lagoon was an overall positive experience. It was a great “starter” park for my daughter to try out at age 2 to see if she liked amusement parks (and she did) before taking her to Disneyland and later Universal Studios Orlando.
I think they should add a thing to the season pass for food to make food cheaper and drink add a thing to your season, pass for catapult and sky coaster and go karts where you can go on it once or twice a month for free for an extra charge upfront when you buy your season pass
When you said games cost money and go karts cost money. The train is free just so everybody knows and catapult and sky coaster cost money, but the train is free

It really is a standout feature of the park. Wish other places could adopt something similar!

We actually thought we got the family rides in the middle, then realized the text day that we'd missed filming it... Oops 😅
Lagoona beach and the train are included with the ticket price. Season pass holder here
Good to know! We even bought a season pass and didn't know all the perks we had 😅
Came here to say the same thing

"Starter" park is a great way to put it. It definitely feels way more laid back compared to Disney or Universal.

That would be a nice touch, similar to what some other parks offer

Good to know! Thanks for the update
Best thing? Bring your own liquor and leashed pets. Absolutely the only park that allows that.
Lol, yes, it seems like they really don't care to police much there. Makes for a really laid back atmosphere though. I'm kinda itching to go back.
Don't like potato salad?? I'm unsubscribing
😅
