A piece that pushes both instrument and player to the limits of what is possible. I really like this composer’s work.
I think it is a superb modern musical exploration and is perfectly performed here.
very unique playing and a lot of special effects given by the player and composer.
That honk at 3:30’ was something special
Amazing performance and music!
@Louie Evan This has nothing to do with the music
very technical and brutal interpretecion mr.espinas Amazing!!!
Impressionante!! Espinás consegue dar sentido a cada nota, a cada acorde de Ginastera, coisa que somente os gigantes do vilão clássico conseguem.
Fabuloso Manuel como siempre.
Again, this piece is not my cup of tea but I hope all the "dislikes" are not for the performer, who displays very great skill indeed.
I actually enjoyed this piece very much! It had a lot going on and I think that Manuel brought an orchestral sounding performance out of it. It really got my mind working! Thank you for sharing your dedication. :)
Only five years late...one word... chromatism
OMG this is literally the best interpretation on youtube! A much as I love the Ginastera's Sonata, I love mr. Espinas' playing! So tastefully interpretative with the highest sense of dynamics, every single note, arpeggio, scale and chord just perfectly fits with the rest, nothing stands out or feels out of place! Thank you very much for this, I have no idea how I haven't come across this recording until now!
that's the most amazing thing I've seen for a while. If anyone can direct me as to what/where type of scales, arpeggio's in this piece ,please let me know.well done Manuel, lots of time & effort.

Amazing!
Bravo ! One of the most expressive sonata for guitar I have ever heard : a journey into human soul. The interpretation is just incredible. This sonata was composed in 1976, when Ginastera was so far from his country, Argentina, for politic reasons, living in Switzerland.
This piece is like a "Rain Dreaming" from Takemitsu.
Really enjoyed this performance. Terrific playing, interpretation. This really takes the guitar into a kind of frantic expressive mode. Welcome and unexpected. First time hearing this work though not unlike some the solo piano sonatas.
Very nice
Amazing technique
A SUPER FANTASTIC GUITAR IN THE HANDS OF A SUPER PLAYER........BRAVOOOOOOOO..!
Sonata op.47,is a Avant Guarde Masterpiece, for the Classical Guitar Repertoire
awesome!
I feel like I just unlearnt and relearned how to play guitar
Thats impressive but can you play Wonderwall?
Best interpretation, and honestly, this is definitely not the piece that is really "out there". I think it is rather traditional, in fact.
why not "canto" ? ( Probably one of the most beautiful movements )
Where the Canto though?
This is not my cup of tea but amasingly well played.
Bravo!
Máestro, muy exquisita Interpretación
Esordio 0:04
Scherzo 3:37
Finale 6:50
This is all the stupid shit I do on guitar but actually put into a song
I know I would slap the guitar and strum the strings on the back of the neck
imo Halász's recording was better, but great job. Although it does sound like he skipped the third movement
1:30
they probably didnt expect the guitar to get so much wear from the piece haha
Not to criticise the performance but I find this composition overrated. It seems like an incoherent rambling of a composer making a point of being as disjointed and dissonant as possible with a few effects, because what's the difference when you're strumming bullshit chords ffff and strings behind the nut, right? I get the point in a theoretical sense, but god it sounds awful.
I think it's an acquired taste, just like Leo Brouwer's La Espiral Eterna, also, what I find the most captivating about this piece is how it is self-contained as a whole
@@Falaxuper you sound pretentious as fuck
El interprete excelente pero me cuesta aceptar que Ginestera es agradable al oido, un conjunto de dificultades "cromaticas" sin sentido musical . Uups
It was so sexy.
ohh, man this sounds horrible. who wrote this? how can you play thia piece with such emotions. this music is terrible. sorry.
Hey body do you want to open your mind and read something about contemporary music?
... ;) thank you
Laszló Ambrus is ginastera rey the disonancias
hehehehe
that's cute
It's as though the composer was tripping on acid and decided to shred with a classical guitar... Mr. Espinas obviously demonstrates skill, but why choose this piece in the first place? I enjoy contemporary music, but this is just an awful mess. It actually gave me a headache
terrible.
Ginastera composed some beautiful music. Then he wrote some harsh, unpleasant stuff like this. (It is well played here.)
Diooos es horrible, la melodía no tiene sentido suena muy mal
