When she missed the bus I would have placed her in the van and driven her to school. If I had to accompany her into school, then I would, but she would go. It is a mistake to allow her to have the upper hand. She is a child and must follow rules or face the consequences. Set up the expectations and consequences and follow through. Don’t engage with her, just take her in and deliver her to the office and then her classroom. Mom needs to become part of the united front and help dad.
