But the "fortune" part of "fame and fortune" eluded her, for a time, after her finances were mishandled by people she trusted. The superstar even had her card declined when trying to order a pizza! Why did you not take the time to do your research? Fantasia had a tumour on her vocal chord. How her absence from the colour purple was twisted around is sad. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

This is Trash...1st of all she only missed those dates on the Color Purple because she had a tumor on her vocal cords that had to be removed...Yes she lost everything 2xs but she has fought her way back and is living what seems to be the "Blessed Life" she doesn't seem to be having $$ issues nowadays and has a new mansion as well! Tasia will be fine she is a fighter with an Olympic size voice (She can flat out sang) she will always bounce back!

She is famous because she won on American Idol..most people don’t know who she is..the problem with getting fame suddenly is that you are overwhelmed and think it will be there forever..nope.

She lost her money because of 2 reasons.......she didn’t take money management schooling (like 90% of lottery winners) and didn’t grew up around money management people for it to rub off onto her. Life is not about what you have but what you know🙏

The one thing you learn very quickly when you have a little bit of money is that your family and friends will be right by your side to help separate you from it. We all learn the hard way. Unfortunately Fantasia had to go through it publicly.
youre so right! when my first hubby died,left Ins..I had so much family and friends til the money ran out. Same thing with hubby number two. Havent seen anyone in 11 years super sad.

I honestly think money is half of Fantasia's problem her and Jhud were two of the biggest African American female Starr's on a reality show at their time she hasn't made Jennifer Hudson's status and level of success because she's not as versatile yeah she did color purple but the way Jennifer embodies herself into her character and her acting in movies is top tier which is why she's an EGOT and tbh Jennifer's voice has a blow that outshines Fantasia and moves people so powerfully I like Fantasia's recorded songs but to hear her live I don't care for even when I watched her journey on American idol I just never brought myself to like her live plus it's something about Jhud's personality that I'm more drawn to something seems wierd about fantasia really can't put my finger on it
