I rode in the rain on Sunday. It's not that bad once you are out although wearing glasses is definitely a drawback. It's just all the afterwards stuff, getting your coat and gloves dry, cleaning the tack etc. It makes you wonder if it was worth the bother.
Lol RAIN 🤣 the star stable act killed me!!! 😂 as it was raining the other day so I spent my entire day playing star stable and riding my fake horse lol I love you Marina you can always make me laugh 😆❤️
Equestrian and weather nerd here, I think it might be because of these things called 'dry lines' where warm, moist air from the south meets cold dry air from the north, producing supercells (and sometimes tornadoes)!

Here in Seattle it rains all the time. Then I'm sad. Where I take lessons, it's an uncovered arena so it gets canceled when it gets too bad😑 Where I used to take lessons, it was a covered arena, so I rode rain or shine. One time I even rode during a really bad hail storm and I could hardly hear anyone talking. Surprisingly, the horses were chill

The star Stables references in your videos crack me up lol I don't play Star Stables, but I do play a lot of video games that have horses in them. My husband and I have been playing Skyrim and while he's off beating all the enemies and quests in his game, I told him my goal is to collect every horse I can buy around the map (I think there are like 5 or 6 of them) and I'll just take out the enemies that get in my way 😂😂 his response was "you would"
This is so funny!! The first thing I think of when its gonna rain is omg please don’t let my horse get an abscess. I swear my horse is so sensitive to weather. Thank god I live in California.

Me looking at the weather forecast for this weekend and a chance of thunderstorms all Saturday, but sunny and 70 today while I'm stuck at a desk all day at work
I live in the Netherlands so this is like every week from the start of october untill march. My parents somehow manage to never get rain on their riding Day (Friday) they only had to skip their lesson ONCE because of the rain in 3 years! We have a good riding Arena tho so it needs to rain for at least a week for the arena to become a swimming pool. It has happend I think twice in the 6-7 years of riding at this barn so we're lucky
The rain is the worst. I mean, it's fine, you deal with it, it's not like I'm NOT going to ride...but especially at an overnight show or when schooling overnight (like for XC)...everything gets wet and nothing dries out. Then after dropping the horse back at the barn I need to bring ALL my gear-- jump boots, bell boots, brushing boots, my boots, damp clothes/socks, rain gear, saddles, bridles, shipping boots, stable wraps, pillow wraps, saddle pads, grooming box, giant tack trunk-- everything comes home to dry out and my husband is wondering why the house smell like a barn! :-P
This was 100% me when I started riding flash forward working at a barn in Florida, (summer all day rain, hard) and I have 2 mottos “sadly the animals still have to eat” and “f**k it“ and going in my HUGE long rain coat out in the rain to feed. Goes for riding as well 😭
OMG so relatable!!! I like to go on early morning trail rides with my horses but every weekend it rains!!! Instead of being on the best ride ever I have to get the horses back in the stable and get them warm, specially fanell (my horse) who is scared of the rain 💧🌧️😭☔
i always see the weather for rain in the weekend when its most important i always say to myself hopefully i wake up early enough so can ride before the rain or you look to see the perfect time where there is like a one hour slot that supposed to drizzle and you try ride then lol

And it snowed Saturday so my group lesson got moved to Sunday but I’m not complaining because it wasn’t cold on Sunday and I had lots of fun tubing with a friend on Friday night and early Saturday morning!
being from arizona, we, first of all, give baths every day. its not even exciting at the point LOL. and second, we dont even get rain, like, ever, so that means less time for star stable and more time for bathing horses i suppose!
Ride in the rain 🌧️!! Get a saddle cover and your rain coat and just go. Ride under the trees if you have any. I don't ride if there's ⚡ lightning or if it's pouring.
