It's so nice to see a young couple making the long distance work. I did the same when I was younger for about 4 years while he was in the military. And we are still going strong almost 10.5 years with him. 😁 ...I also got my bachelors in the midst of it all. So it's possible to make it work. Takes two to tango boo. So glad to see all of it.

Heyy! So, I went to NYC this past summer (2015) and I loved it. I attended FIT for a week to take a summer class called passion for fashion styling and everything I did there was amazing. I'm in the process of applying to FIT and I pray that I get in. When I attend this school I really want to meet you because you inspire me. Same. I'm a freshman at a university in San Diego and I moved from Miami. At the moment it seems hard but everyone says it'll be easy. I'm shy so idk I guess it depends on if you're shy, if people are general friendly at your school and if you go to the free events/ take risks or put yourself out there. People at my school are extremely friendly. It's overwhelming at first but I'm slowly making friends all the same.
It's harder if it's not a social setting but just try and say hi and ask a few questions...usually people are easier to talk to than you think because a lot of my friends always say they are shy but if you start the conversation they'll talk...most of the time, you can easily tell if someone isn't interested in a conversation but doesn't hurt to say hi and say what do you study etc, the basic questions
