Rahmir Johnson breaks out, he’s from NY and it’s his last year of eligibility. He should get some decent snaps and make the most of them for his hometown crowd!
I think Wilson is dead on with Willis McGhee. I think with the Oklahoma transfer and Shavers we are going to have a great LB room. DL will be good but will take a step back. Secondary will take a step forward. Remember we basically didn’t have Hill all year. Ceyair will be back a good transfer and we have some good young talent I think is ready
@@Paiste1982 good takes, think DL will improve even With Catastrophic losses,🐻❄️,etc., through Improved portal usage and coaching/development. Delusional homer take? Never! Going to be interesting to see how the Huskers do on Saturday. Especially given that the weather looks horrible. Just saw it's supposed to be 47 degrees and 87% chance of rain. The fact that the field at Yankee Stadium is natural grass isn't going to help our offense. I think going into this game, the passing game was going to dominate. However, if this weather forecast holds up, we're going to have to rely heavily on the running game. Would have loved it if Dowdell played in this game. I could see Holgerson using the FB more to aid our running game. Think it will be very necessary to utilize the TE's in the passing game, short to mid routes. In wet grass, I don't see DH calling many screens. The OL is going to have to be dominant and consistent. ST's could be an issue given the weather. On paper, we should win this game. The weather, however, often evens out the playing field. GBR
Boring but I agree. I was high on McGahee since he was in high school. He's a great athlete, but what I see stands out the most is his hands are elite. He is so good at getting threw the line of scrimmage and getting to the ball carrier. Him and I think the NY guys will be amped and have a big game against BC.
That's why when you get four and five star players in your program you play I'm as freshmans I don't care if the majority of all of your starters are freshmen they might lose their first year but they have you in Championship Games the following year in the filing following next 2 years seasons that's what made Miami and Florida them so so great all the time they were play freshmen have a whole team of freshmen and lose that season and next season be paying for a national championship you don't let your best players sit on the bench I don't care how long somebody's been on the team if there's somebody better than him you are not a good coach if he's sitting on the bench and this is why a lot of players transfer because you have people playing in position because you like them and they work hard they're from the state so you play those players but you hurt the team you lose games that way you thankful for anybody that comes and plays for the team and tries real hard but you can't play favorites in sports if you truly want to win I don't care whose son or daughter that is you play your best players
There are several really good players from that area that you just know are gonna be pumped to bring their team to the home field and show their Families and Friends exactly why they chose to go to Nebraska.... Nebraska has always had great luck with guys out of the East Coast...from N.Y.State all the way down the coast to Northern Florida! Anybody remember Mike Rozier was a New Jersey Boy when he got pulled out of the JUCO ranks to come to be a HUSKER & Heisman Trophy Winner and Graduate from NEBRASKA.....HE STILL REPRESENTS NEBRASKA AND HELPS US RECRUIT THE EAST COAST....not to mention he is still a very SNAPPY DRESSER !....LOL

The experience of this game will be invaluable to the players . A win will give us a winning record and big momentum for 2025 . GBR
Look for Kwinton Ives to make a big impression in his first real playing time
He was my favorite out his class

True Dat, True Dat ☠️💪🌽🏈!!!!!
Ou transfer will take the rover spot
On the offensive side I believe it will be Quinn Clark who will break out.
THe best thing is that we have several potential NFL'ers on this team. IF we don't start developing these guys we will never be any better than 6-6
