Hi new subscriber here from the Uk love watching you am disabled so it’s even harder for me to declutter you were right you have got to keep an eye on it when you’ve finished because you don’t realise it does not take much for the stuff to take over again then you are right back to the beginning I’ve got 3 grown up daughters and grandchildren and like you I’ve kept a lot of items for them they don’t want them so the charity shops here we come again 😊
Good morning darling, so lovely to have you join us! You're absolutely right about having t watch that the clutter doesn't start to mount up again, I am in constant battle with my utility room and dining room table...I'm sure that clutter fairies pile it up for me to find! Well done if you're keeping on top of it darling, for me...I'm definitely a work in progress! xxxMuch love Imi ❤
Omg! You are a treasure! You are speaking everything I've been telling myself! Except you say it with a lovely British accent! Which sounds much better than what I've been saying to myself!😂 Thank you for being so transparent! You've inspired me to keep on the decluttering path! 🧗♂️🗻 ✨
Hello Valerie, I was so delighted to get your message. We are all not that different darling. We have stuff, we have too much clutter and most of all we have a conscience. None of us want to leave the job of clearing up our mess to our loved ones because it would play on our minds. However, once we start exercising the decluttering muscles it's surprising just how much we can achieve! I have total faith in you darling! And remember to use the runny dog poo trick [ I can't remember which decluttering video it is] but that one is a game changer too! In fact with that in mind, I've decided to revisit my craft room and loft and give it a second pass through because I know I can do better and be way more ruthless! We ARE WONDER WOMEN after all aren't we! 😂❤ much love Imi xxx
New subsciber today. I am writing and listrning to you from very rural farm land in Upstate NY. We are at our Summer home - a 200 year old Brick 1 room school house at a country crossroads surrounded by corn fields. Corn soon to be harvested for diary cow feed for the winter ahead ❤
Hello darling, it's so lovely to hear from you and about your wonderful summer home...I can actually imagine it and it sounds absolutely idyllic! Are they your corn fields or a neighbouring farmer's ? Much love to you and yours Imi xxx❤
Thank you darling...and let's not forget that you were able to calm my conscience by taking all that fabric and that you will put it to good use!!! I'm going to get rid of more from that room, so expect a call soon! xxx💕
We are planning to downsize in a few years to a property 1/3 size - we are starting big declutting and I’ve been sending photos to our children not of both their belongings and to give them first dibs on anything we no longer want
Fabulous idea darling! The time to do it is NOW so that you can pace yourself and not damage yourself [like me] and I'm still suffering 🙄! Plus it will vastly help when you invite the Estate Agent to your home. It will make your home feel bigger without the clutter and your home will get the best valuation possible. It will save you thousands! Much love to you and yours darling, Imi xxx ❤
Oh my goodness...I have only just realised that I had left bits of this video in that I thought I had taken out in the editing! What a complete fool I am!!!😂🙄. Lesson learned and I shan't be repeating it again! Please accept my sincere apology and that I am obviously a complete and utter numpty! 🤭 xxx
‘If it’s not serving me, then I’m serving it…’ Excellent! So clear, so concise and spot on. A great way of looking at de-cluttering. However, not that easy sometimes. Thank you for this.
Thank you Urbanmeister. I'm absolutely determined to take control of the clutter in our house from now on. My darling boy is more inclined to have a stack of "Stuff" that builds up and then he builds a new one!! I've decided to start doing his filing so that he doesn't accumulate lots of things that don't require keeping! xxx ❤
I think everyone needs to get started to one degree or other don't you darling? We all have too much and gradually it fills our homes to bursting! xxx❤
My husband and I are 72. I have decluttered us down to a 320 sq foot apartment with some furniture in a shed. It is still constant organizing and taking things to charity even though we are very conservative in our spending.
Oh my goodness Denise, you are the absolute Queen of decluttering!!! That was an amazing feat of organisation!!! I agree with you that once you've done all the decluttering you actually DO need to be conservative with your spending otherwise you'll just fill your home up again and undo all of your hard work! xxx❤
@@ImiMcCready Well we moved in a garage apartment behind his mom when she was 89 to help her out. She is 95 now and still going strong. I have to say the smallness is a blessing and a curse and sometimes I dream of one big room with huge windows. Well nearly always I dream of that. Ha
Well done 👏👏 and you can be also funny 😄❤! I enjoy how you get more confident and playful with every video. However I wish you’d have more time for making art (🎨you know why😊). Clever choice to document and share experience. We had to sort out the whole house before moving and even though we got rid of half of the stuff there’s still so much to deal with. Especially when you change countries which have different electrical voltage and most of the appliances won’t work and you realize it too late when you stored those valuable ones to bring them later and you find out you have to buy new ones and … the old ones are in the storage on another continent 😆 ok too much detail. One day it all will also be sorted out 🌈🙏
Thank you Lenka that's so kind of you ❤. I think it's an ongoing process isn't it getting your confidence to grow in front of the camera...I'm probably a little slower than most🙄😂. The art is still sitting on my art table and awaiting the end of this process I have set myself...I can tell you life has been extremely pain filled since my last declutter and has forced me to slow down, primarily because it's so paralysing to move my left arm in particular! 😳 it just goes into spasm and I'm crying out with the agony of it! I can understand the whole downsizing problem with electrical goods not being suitable for different countries and how annoying is that!??? Never too much detail darling, it's always fabulous to hear from you. Much love Imi xxx❤
Hi Sweetheart how are you? Has the stressful time got a bit better? I do hope so. I just wanted to let you know darling that I'm thinking of you and sending you love xxx ❤
Not really. My husband has been diagnosed with cancer. My head is not in a great place. So pleased your subs are increasing. Well done Imi. Will come back properly when I can. I love watching you. Next couple of months will be difficult. Thank you so much for inquiring. X❤
@@chrissiematthews7988 Oh sweetheart I am so sorry to hear this. Have you watched to video about LDN and treating cancer? I know that anyone I have ever known with cancer I have recommend getting on to Low dose Naltrexone. I can give youall of the information if you email me on thenumber1ladiesclub@gmail.com I recommended that the stepmother of a friend [patient] take it when she was given a very poor prognosis when her tumours kept returning. She really didn't have long so she started taking it and she is still alive and thriving today...she's in her 70s , still working
@@chrissiematthews7988 Please darling, watch the video I did called Eva's Survival Story. She is a throat cancer survivor since taking low dose naltrexone when the surgeons had given her the worst possible prognosis. You can take low dose naltrexone even if you're having chemotherapy. Email me direct on thenumber1ladiesclub@gmail.com because I can walk you through the entire process of getting on to it. It's not available on the NHS but isn't expensive [about £20 per month]. I take it, so do two of my daughters, my son-in-law and all of us have no side effects at all. You cancer also watch on youtube CANCER - LDN THE GAME CHANGER. It will give you hope darling. Clearly you have more faith in my decluttering than I do darling! I've still got the kitchen, utility room, spare room, our bedroom, garage and I've even managed to clutter up the garden shed! Once I've stopped whinging on about my shoulder muscles I will get back at it but this time not carry big heavy boxes of rubbish to the tip! xxx ❤
