My family did a cross country journey when I was a kid in the early 1960's from Maryland to Seattle. We went through the Badlands and Yellowstone National Park. I vaguely remember it. I was so young. I was only about 5 years old. It's amazing what you can remember from your childhood though.
That's so true. I remember the craziest stuff from when I was a kid and guarantee you I would have remembered the Badlands and YS NP for sure. So special.
Been going back and watching old episodes because I enjoy these videos so much. I agree about stopping around every turn in the Badlands. Took me 6 hours to drive though with my car. Thanks again for your great videos. Was great binge watching. Sucks being caught up and waiting for Sunday 😂
That's really cool to hear. Thank you for your comment. Yeah the Badlands blew my mind. So amazing. I wish I could edit faster but it takes a long time and its truly a struggle to keep up with an episode each week routine 😩 but I'm on it. Tomorrows is a good one. Lots of snow.
Hi Stacy. Thanks for your comment. Glad you appreciate my humor, or insanity??? Either way, hope you stick around. Im living my dream and its non stop ridiculousness. Hopefully it inspires some people to go "out there".
@@FlyscoutRyder love the humor and the adventure. A long distance bikepacking trip is making its way to my bucket list. I need to start with an overnighter and go from there. I would love to see some videos on your gear load out and how you selected the route you did. Be safe man. Awesome and inspiring.
1973,me 1st ride on 10speed bike. Rapid Valley to Wall Drug along I-90,visit sisters classmates ranch in badlands. My /one of big bro's-Am. was Twiss ranch near there i helped a weekend branding. i want to be a town custodian there. i have few recalls/memories of mom an family going thru there to visit her kin. Ruth born st Francis. helped compile old Lakota stories frum the women folk. my 1st ride back against the wind on interstate shoulder. so bad had to peddle down hill against wind, would stop and fall over so hitched ride at lil river. i hope to tour there asap...
Hi George. Thank you for checking out the channel and reaching out. The Badlands are really special. Sort of surreal. On my second crossing this last year I rode across the souther portion of them into Nebraska and it was spectacular scenery as well. That episode should come out around May of this year. All the best
Jimmy and Anna came thru for me with open hearts during these 24 hrs in The Badlands. Crazy how when you let yourself be in vulnerable situations, people tend to step up and show insane kindness. A testament to humanity
Enjoyed this loads. Photography and videography are awesome. I just completed a tour here in Thailand, videos uploaded, but my efforts look amateurish in comparison.
Jay, I checked out your channel and subscribed. I look forward to watching your adventures. You are in such a culturally rich country and makes for a great platform for your channel. I spent 10 days in Thailand two years ago and I loved it. Thanks for watching
Love all the videos, the positivity, the scenery looks like you are having a blast. I play your videos on the big screen in my office and jump on my stat bike and ride along with you (too cold to ride in Toronto right now). Looking forward to your next videos enjoy the rest of the adventure.
What a great comment. Thank you sir. Sam. Never thought of someone exercising indoor on a stationary bike while watching my videos. Super awesome to hear. Thank you for watching and enjoying
I just found your channel. Great adventure. Looking forward to following your adventure from now on. I'm bike touring here in east coast but who knows maybe one day I will decide to head west. 😂
West is great but as long as I am riding in one direction its all fun. The west has mountains though and once you start climbing elevation its tough to not look for it. There are plenty of mountains on our East. North Carolina is insane fun with shorter climbs but way steep and the downhills are unreal fast
This episode is of my first season, Cycling USA. It was August 2020. Take a look at my about page in my channel and it will explain the way I've organized the episodes. First season is 32 episodes from 2020 crossing of the USA. Second season is Cycling USA 2 and its of this year's crossing and its currently uploading weekly. Should be about 60 episodes in total.

That all sounds really cool. Great memories and yes, you should get out there as soon as this winter passes.
Yea riding past those buffalo might of ended bad. Loved the Badlands. Glad you found some help out there. Take care, Al
Jimmy was very kind to turn around and come get me
OMG what amazing landscapes you have captured. What an epic journey.

Another great Video Diego, and you made the right decision by taking a ride, "safety first" .
Ana Life Anna and I stay in touch and she actually came down to my home to hang out during last winter. She is a road angel.
Just found your page a few days ago. This had been a great watch. I look forward to the rest.
Thank you. Black Hills Ep15 tomorrow night 7:15
I can't believe you have so many flats. Do you use tire liners?
I do now but not then. I've learned to fill about 4 to 6 ounces of sealant into my tubes. Never have flats since and keep great tire pressure.
On our TV schedule for tonight. Keep them coming. We love the pure glee you show travelling here. Has given us many ideas for riding.
That's so great. Im so into it its difficult do do anything else. Stay tuned and thank you for watching
Great video as usual!! Great to see the kindness you met on the road!

Yeah, actually…Noah’s flood. But whatever. Beautiful video!
Good to know, thank you
🦬"I DONT THINK SO!!!"🤣
