Haha there are so many who dab out of dirty shit. I'm called a dab snob where I'm from cause I soak my banger in iso every dab. I have 3 bangers I rotate so I don't have to wait. I guess he could be referring to the angle of the actual bowl part but yeah I call it a 90 angled lip banger I guess. Not a 45 tho that's just bad geometry
Before using the q tip, soak it with a little bit of iso alcohol or this stuff called dark crystal glass cleaner and you won't have the black stuff. You can torch as long as you want just make sure you wait for the right cool down to not burn your dab. Typically a 40 second to a one minute wait period for the cool down. If you torch the black stuff off it will oxidize. Your banger/nail will be cloudy afterwards not clear. You want the banger to stay clear for as long as possible. I have a 200$ as well as a 10$ Chinese banger. Both are flawless and clear. I'll post a Pic if possible.
When I heat I count to 21 in my head then count to 64 to cool off then dab. Then use a dry q-tip(pinched to get the bottom rim) then wipe with plain water and dry off. My Evan shore still looks brand new after a year lol
Do NOT q tip your quartz banger dry until you get All Of THE residue out. You will want to put a tiny bit of iso or dark crystal glass cleaner (I recommend dark crystal) on it and q tip the majority of it with the first two ends of the first q tip. The second q tip will get more of the residue out. Your 3rd or 4th wet q tip will end up being white and clean. When the q tip is finally coming out clean after wiping the banger/nail with it a few times, dry it off with a nice dry q tip.
Once you torch left over dabs, in other words if you try burn off the remaining residual left over from your last dabbing session, you will forever fuck your banger and cause it to be cloudy when it's supposed to be see through magnifying glass clear. The quarts will then glow red like the devils dick. A well kept and taken care of quarts will stay clear for the most part with a little bit of orange glow when it is torched. If you see any distinct red glow that is a no no.
And You Will waste a little bit of oil doing nice low temp dabs. Do not be surprised if you go to q tip and you end up collecting brown and black residue. You do not want the bit that stays in the banger going into your lungs. Some people like the fact that they can torch something to 1000 degrees and hit the dab while the nail is red hot and be able to smoke every last molecular part, but that's fucking terrible for you.
Hey mate, try not to burn yourself (or someone else) as the most important rule but beyond that, feel free to experience and develop your own dabbing style. Some people prefer higher temperatures, while others wear by low temp dabs and the list goes on. Everyone has their own preference and as long as you watch out for the hot parts, you'll be fine. nice vid, idk why people are hating when this is how 99% of knowledgeable people take their dabs. never in my life have i met someone who actually pours iso into their banger and wipes it with 4 qtips every dab. maybe if you take a dab once a week, but for your average stoner, i'm sure conventional, sane methods are sufficient. btw a smidge of color on the banger will have no effect on flavor or vaporization, so what's the big deal? the bottom of the bucket usually gets cleaned by the torch anyway
