Her family had left Ukraine long before the war started. Obviously, it was impossible to develop her talent in the conditions created there.

Many millions other Ukrainians left the country at the same time. Karolina considered herself to be Russian before the war started. Neither she nor her parents even speak Ukrainian.

Karolina's has a vibrant, passionate, and unique playing style, for the thumbs down folks, move on. She now has a music video of "Faded" where the clear playing of her violin stands out. Her music video of "Despacito" is excellent as well (done when she was 9). I have viewed other violinists on RUclips that don't come close, kinda like low energy. To address those urging Karolina to go on "America's Got Talent", I see no up side. It's a show with dogs, humans that twist themselves into different shapes, hopefull musicians with some talent just trying to get noticed, and of course the infamous Simon Cowell. Karolina has already put in a lot of work with practicing hours a day since she was 6 and street performances since she was 9 to cultivate her given talent. She has 300 million views across all social media platforms and 100 million for Despacito alone and she's only 10. She's just getting started and well underway to determine her own destiny. I wish her all the best.

This sweetheart is so precious...I haven't been able to come across a musical of hers that I didn't love...and she has done so many absolute awesome musicals that literally has my mind and brain swimming in endorphins....literally.
