As an 8 year old the best thing you can do is try to maximize your time out on the field. Develop your field play as in the long run this will make you a better keeper.
Don’t buy overly expensive gloves, try and get playing time in other positions, and don’t only buy neg cut gloves because they look cool, if you want high quality gloves that aren’t too expensive try some westcoast gloves

dont get something to expensive, usually the expensive ones that pro keepers use dont last long at all. get something in the low-mid range pricing.
best option are reusch and uhlsport gloves. they're not expensive, they're very durable and have a pretty good amount of grip.
