I wonder who the boss of the Rodan rail shooter would have been had they had enough time to make it and put it in the game. Also noticed the rail shooters are ocean, space and Rodan's obviously would have filled the air role.

It shows Rodan flying through a canyon, lots of ufos and fighter jets in front of him. Unfortunately they either scrapped it due to lack of money, time, space or just interest factor.
I've heard supposedly it was scrapped due to time and budget. They really wanted the game to coincide with the release of Godzilla Final Wars the year it was released.
Hard to imagine that the game was actually somewhat of a rush job, given how good it is. But I can kinda see it, with the fact that they had to scrap Biollante, an ice stage, Rodan's rail shooter, and possibly Titanosaurus to get this out there in time for Godzilla: Final Wars.
I have trouble with Destoroyah in the games, more than the other monsters. But Spacegodzilla I think has more to do with the ai I believe. As a player Spacegodzilla could be good but the ai seems to not really use him as well.
Destoroyah was busted in Destroy All Monsters Melee so I believe they nerfed him down to make him more fair. In Godzilla Unleashed he is even further busted with his horn attack spam

And MechaGodzilla could’ve been the boss because he pulverized Rodan in Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla II.
