Needed this. Thanks, i would've been doing unnecessary stuff and breaking the assembly because i thought i needed to take it apart to tighten a bolt behind the mirror.

Thanks!!! Awesome video I have been dealing with this issue for a long time. I have stuffed foam and rolled up tape and stuffed it between the mirror and the frame to stop that annoying shaking of the hood mirrors. Thank You!!!

not a fix! 50 bucks there is a repair kit from your local Freightline
