In 2023 leading EGING company YAMASHITA released the EGI-OH SEARCH with many exclusive technologies. The new technology "STROBE FIN" is put on the back of the squid jig, it generates a strong flashing action.
When we make a rod action, the fin receives water resistance and generates a flashing action efficiently. The flat sides of the body are fitted with a foil which generates a strong flash with each action. The strong flashing action is very effective on squid which are far away, it can call them in.

I'm a little late to comment this video. However, I find this product really interesting. The possibility to have NeonBright technology together with a flashy foil is, probably, its best. It is necessary to try this egi personally to judge the increased sinking rate. I use to eging in deep water (up to 20 m depth), and I find myself in conditions where I am forced to add some sinkers to the egi to reach the correct depth at the correct distance, despite squids want a slower sinking speed. We will see.
This egi can be the right choice in deep waters and open coasts, when squids are active. However, casting such an egi when squids are not active could be problematic. I suggest Yamashita to develop egi dedicated to apatic squids, working on something different than sinking rate. But these are my opinions and they can be right or wrong.

I wish it was without rattle sound and slower sinking , it will not be good for shallow area i fish in , but i still got my EgiOh K shallow to enjoy eging

Please make the cloth more stronger. We have very agressive squid here in my place which is east Indonesia. They always tear the egi's cloth!!
There’s nothing wrong with the cloth you need to strike sooner your obviously not feeling the bite
You're obviously not knowing the condition, time, method and the spot where i am usually squid fishing. The egi cloth still tear down by the squid bite, right? So correct me if i'm wrong write down a comment about the cloth
