The thing about the Emberspit and the Sword is that it does increased damaged to stringified enemies, making them better as a close range counter for paper targets than it is a standard secondary
I think the decision about which weapon use is a bit personal/situational. You can move while chasing someone with ember, easier than using the sword, they can't string, it has more range than sword but its dps, not burst like sword. Hand shotgun is a bit tricky, I think is the hardest one because you only have 3 shots and it doesn't work well at long range, so if you don't kill you're probably dead. Deagle is harder to hit but has more chances than shotgun at long/medium range. Mac10 is versatile, but due to recoil or damage it isn't the best in all games, it's just general purpouse. Choose the one you use best or the one you see fit with your character.
My take is the Deagle is really good. It's 100 DMG for headshot, which means you can 2 shots regen armor, and that means Deagle has a very fast kill rate. It gives you a chance if an enemy rushes to you after your primary gun runs out of ammo and the enemy has more health/armor than you. Also, the accuracy is very high, try hip-fire and look where the bullet went. The worst part is it's very less forgiving for missed shots. It's saved my life many times and I barely change to other guns. Good guide tho!
Yeah I never felt the need to swap from the stinger, feels like the best option by far. Maybe the deagle could be good on shotgun characters to have a long range option I guess. Also you didn't mention it but I'm pretty sure that the sword and flamethrower deal bonus dmg to stringified enemies.
I like using the deagle on Eika so I have a chance at hitting targets from a distance when not using slugs. Good for breaking objects like Michelle drones if nothing else.
I actually really like the emberspit personally, as you can move around and not worry about tracking your shots-just blast it in the general direction of your target. I also find it really effective when spraying through smokes. Doesn’t excuse it from being weak though-a cool change I’d like is if it had an overheat system instead of regular ammo, and it starts off with increased range but diminishes as it overheats more. Right now it just feels like an abandoned child of Stinger & Ignis, which already have their own strengths
Hearing the Stinger being better than the Athena is killing me in the inside when the Athena has saved my life more times than the amount of bullets I hit on a Stringer on a stringified/fast moving target.
My intrusive thought I got the first time I saw this masterpiece never left me. As for me, it's so good at close range, when it's hard to aim... What is it? 😂
My personal ranking 1. athena, has good enough range to be used for a quick finish while also being punishing up close, also losing because I missed my shots doesn't feel bad because its on me for bad aim 2. sword, at the ranges where I usually go for secondaries its close enough to rush my opponent down, and counters stringified mode with ease 3. stringer, good but feels too inconsistent when I used it (probs a skill issue tbh) 4. ignis, great for finishing but the lack of range makes it worse than stringer 5. emberspit, its ability to hit stringified foes with ease is good, but at that range I find it better to use the sword and focus on being hard to hit I do main Eika so that probably has a lot of influence on my picks as I like rushing people down I would like to hear from others on their rankings though so I can think about what to run

Also apparently knife counters invisible enemies

Fun fact, the code of this game is so stringy, the knife tracks invisible enemies.

iirc they don't exactly deal bonus dmg, rather they ignore the dmg resistance
@@Cyboroso No it's roughly 33% extra damage on top of ignoring resistance

emberspit > sword, most good players abuse wall riding so much, sword cant hit it
the sword deals more damage to stringified enemy
The emberspit and katana deal more damage to stringified opponents. So they are good against people who are trying to dodge shot while reloading.
katana is badass. katana is best
Bruh, in CN most people are running amberspit
Dansker?
