Tens of thousands gathered near Balochistan University in Quetta to welcome the participants and leaders of the Turbat long march, returning from Islamabad, Pakistan's capital. The air was soon to turn electrifying.
The gathering on January 25 was mostly attended by young students, elderly people and children. Waiting for a great orator.
Cameras and drone cameras were everywhere to cover the 'jalsa' or what was referred to as a "public referendum".
Then the 'lioness of Balochistan', Mahrang Baloch, took the stage and addressed the thousands of people waiting to hear her.
"Today, the love and respect we have among our people in our land are a thousand times more powerful than the oppression of Islamabad," she roared to the gathering.
She raised a slogan and thousands of those gathered chanted in unison.
It is a rare sight for Balochis to follow a woman leader. But Mahrang Baloch is different.

Harimohan jee I do not agree with you that Saudi King can bring reforms. I lived in Iran during Shah's time and he tried his best to reform the society. Alas! he failed and had to leave the country and died in Egypt. I remember there were wine shops at each corner, Iranian girls used to drink like fish and chain smokers like Western girls. जब जेपी यूनिवर्सिटी छपरा बिहार के प्रोफेसर कहता है अब हमे पाकिस्तान की तरह अलग देश चाहिए तब हमे पता चलता है की हम सेक्युलरिज्म का धोखा किस तरह दिया गया हमे
चार साल पहले बिहार में एक व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप बना मिला जिसमे 500 लोग एड थे और उस ग्रुप का नाम था पाकिस्तान जिंदाबाद अब मुझे बताए की हम हिंदुओ को क्या मिला इस सेक्युलरिज्म से , 1947 में जो चुनाव हुआ जिसमे जिन्ना ने अलग देश की मांग के नाम पे चुनाव लडा उसमे 86% मुस्लिम बिहार के पाकिस्तान बनाने के लिए वोट दिए लेकिन गए नही और आज फिर गद्दारी शुरू कर दिए है , हम हिंदुओ को क्या मिला 10 लाख लोगो की जान गई थी जब पाकिस्तान बना
