    15 years ago I had a 06 r6 as my first bike having no damper almost killed me many times!!! I love my 22 s1000rr tho!

      I do think it’s crazy they don’t put a stock damper on a bike made for racing.
      I’ve always wanted to try a s1000rr. Nice bike man

    if it keeps it from having speed wobble it's worth it. you would think these bikes would come with a damper like the R1

      Agreed. For such a performance built bike no stock damper is definitely a let down.

      The last few model years had a built-in electric damper. But yeah it's a shame it didn't have one for so long.

    Informative video, what u think of Ohlins universal damper?

      The ohlins dampers seem to be pretty good if you don’t mind the mounting bracket set up. I like my fitment / bracket style a lot better.

    What led lights you running? I see you using stock light caps…

      Ya not a lot of room to work with. The r6 is running a halogen style blue piaa bulb.
      My R1 has leds and stock caps. They are just cheap bulbs off of Amazon. They don’t have heat sinks or fans on the back, just a tiny led bulb that looks just like factory. Never had any flickering or other issues surprisingly

    What does the numbers do?

    • @JT2JZ
      @JT2JZ  2 года назад

      The higher the number the stiffer and more resistance the damper makes
