    Awesome video. Very insightful. Love how encourages sight-reading every day. I think this is especially true for an established musician… someone who’s familiar with the repertoire, just to keep the invention and inspiration sparked.
    Daily Mozart! Also a beautiful & rewarding concept… maybe alternate between Bach, Mozart… sometimes Beethoven?

    Hi Ann saw your vidio in Texas Im practicing more because someone explaned the bow tension knob is not supposed to touch the transome of the stick. I practiced ba ba black sheep and the visitors this evening at6pm. Ive never heard my violin sound so soulful! It wasnt even in tune and still sounded great. Im an undiscovered retread gave up 40 years ago because I couldnt tune my instrument and didnt know about f# behind open d. Thank you for sharing about your Guarnieri it was fastenating! C.e.usa😅

    Excellent insights from Ms. Myers. Coincidentally, I once met a famous violinist who also plays scales, but not necessarily any double stops. He just recommended the last six pages of the Hrimaly Scale Book. And then there’s Nathan Milstein who didn’t play scales at all. For me, I love using the scale system by Elisabeth Gilels. Thank you for sharing these valuable videos with us.
