Coyote survived far worse. One time, he was literally reduced to ashes from some explosion (except for the floating eyes and hands), and then he literally scraped his own ash on a trash tray and went on about his day... and somehow reformed himself by the next scheme, in that very same episode.

Wily E. Coyote might have hated the roadrunner, but there is no evidence I saw that the roadrunner hated the coyote. He had a smile on during the chases and he was basically playing with him all these years. So there might have been a mutual respect, at least. The Wily E. Coyote bit is one of my favorites.
I mean its just nice to see him get one over on the Road Runner (I mean even ol' Elmer Fudd has gotten one over on Bugs a few times like when he convinced Bugs that he was Elmer so Elmer could pretend to be Bugs could escape going to Alcatraz for if I remember correctly Tax evasion and the one where he was an animator and messed with Bugs the same way Bugs messed with Daffy in a similar cartoon where he was the animator though I always wished it was Daffy getting some payback on Bugs as modern Daffy can hardly ever catch a break which is why I prefer the classic screwball duck, though they recently brought classic Daffy back in the HBO MAX Looney Tunes). I mean considering how hard Wily E. works to catch him and his sheer tenacity, its just nice to see him win in a parody like that (similar to the Peanuts skit where Charlie Brown gets his revenge for all those football gags).

As a guy who was lucky to have at least 3 transformers and maybe 5 joe figures, I HATED this kid growing up. They had all the cool toys and they would just destroy them bc...now that I'm older I realize...they were just f'd up in the head. And bc their parents would reward them with even more toys, they never understood taking care of stuff. Now these people are in Hollywood and politics. Explains the decisions being made in 2020 and 2021 perfectly.
