Hi Henrix after watching your videos there are a few questins coming to my mind. First of all, it seems to me, that the route is rather icy and there's almost no actual powder snow, is that right? Also, do you know what route you guys were doing? (www.vallee-blanche.org/vallee_blanche_guide_chamonix_off_piste_skiing_valley_blanche) Final one, were there any long flat traverses where you would have been better off skiing then snowboarding, because you only barely made it, or are parts like the on at 19:15 in your video still steep enough and it only appear quite flat on the video? Thank you very much for your answers and for sharing your video with us, enjoyed it a lot!
Hi Thierry, so,, if you don't be a Local, make it not alone. You have every year different conditions and snow. I was there at Wednesday: ruclips.net/video/TdP_UONv3K4/видео.html
The first Time it was the Touristline - for me not steep enough - 2018 I go the direct-line alone with the guide ruclips.net/video/TdP_UONv3K4/видео.html
Henrix1979 Hey this is my 2nd time watching this video. Why are you guys walking like that at the beginning? Is it really steep up there? It's hard to tell. thanks.
Because there was death all around us - one step left or right... or if you slip, that's it! We were all connected to one rope, but if things have gone really bad, it could become our last snowboard trip. Things are really serious up there - no chance for mistakes!
me encantó esta pista! 👌🏼😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼saludos desde Chile!
Why didn't you strap your board to your backpack during the hike on the top ridge?

How was the flat part at the end on a snowboard? Was it ok with the poles? Did you ever need to unstrap from your bindings?
As long as the snow is not deep, you can glide on that "flat" part forever it seems - just enough slope to keep you going.
nice watch
I love it
Schon vor langer Zeit gemacht ohne sicherungen
Der Guide lässt es ja nicht zu, dass man da ohne Sicherung rumläuft.
Hello Henrix, which guide did you hire?

How much to hire a guide?
the winter was not so great -
www.chamonix-guides.com/ take a look here - call the guys - really nice people
looks like taking a guide ist not really needed...follow the tracks is enough. right?
Thx for the comment - if you be there view time, it could be possible alone. But not the first time the crevasses are really deep!! Best -

Been there- well worth the money on your first time. Those crevaces are no joke
Next time, crampons ; )
that works very well with the shoes.
Is all well secured on top of the mountain.
You also have less weight in your backpack.
Crampons much? Lol
