As for allowing a seconded monster to appear, make sure that the main boss is in Slot 1 and sub boss is in Slot 2. Sub boss in Slot 2 must not be present at the time. Now set up a trigger, for example: F5,0C,01,FF (If target self has less or equal then 32000 HP) F5,09,00,02 (Monsters #2 , if hidden/dead, brought in with their HP restored, from bottom.) So, the net result is that if Main boss (Slot 1) has less than or equal to 32000 HP, Sub boss (Slot 2) will fade in from the bottom.
Yeah, I gotta agree with Joshua. These monsters rock. Keep this stuff up and you may very well be working for a game company. I mean, it may only be a matter of time before you figure out a way to make your own attacks too. Keep on making monsters dude, they rock!
I wish! FF was one of the first games I played when I was kid I love FF. Each time they delivered a game it was always freaking sweet and they seem to always out do themselves. From being one of their biggest fans to actually working for them contributing to their games... man, that be like a dream come true... -.-
@alantrik like the Czar dragon before it, the script wasn't finished at the time of shipment. I suspect that it could've been designed for some boss idea. If you look close enough there were other interesting lines having to do with the eight dragons being called in to battle by their friend. It could've been part of some early design of the last round of the Soul Shrine. Heck, these scripts still exist in the FF6A game.
@zaneteal Yea I actually try to beat them. This way it shows their potential difficulty especially the bosses rated 5 stars. I don't actually use the "Quick" spell mainly because it's pretty overpowered.
Thanks, it took me a while to make this video. This friggin' guy is so damn hard, the videos that I usually make for him are over 20 minutes long. As for how did I happen to squeeze all this in just under 9 minutes is simple... I was lucky. -.-
Well, I already know how to make my own attacks. I just haven't added them because I didn't want to erase the attacks coded into the original game. The only attack that I have altered was in the Diablos patch in which he uses the "Messenger" spell.
This boss is well coded. The dragon attacking Vyzoroy if he gets damaged by Merton is so funny too lol. The coding for so many enemies in this game is very strange. It's like some bosses can be difficult, but only depending on an odd series of attack choices and if/when they use them, and the 65,535 HP limit they couldn't really do much, I think they could've used the same trick as with Zeromus on Kefka though but chose to make him too easy aside from havoc wing and train really. The God of magic and his wings are stronger than his magic lol.
wish i had all the time to make custom bosses like this. i would love to add more scripts but i dont want to delete most of the other boss scripts so i was wondering if there was a way to add more bytes space without deleting from other scripts.
I like seeing this patch work. Very nice job and it's nice seeing some customization coming to one of my favorite games. Not to be an asshole too but... you used they're wrong with their. >.>
I see. Thats awesome. Have you given any thought about hacking the text, and making your own version of Final Fantasy 3? I'm sure that would be good. I mean, the bosses are obviously awesome.
I was wondering, I am trying to make ideas for a "prequel" war of magi hack and I am wondering some things 1. Is it possible to hack in animations from like FFII GBA into the game using FFIIIUSME, or does it require coding/scripting? 2. Is there a way to change the events so drastically in a FFVI hack? Or would I be bounded to the scripts that already happen (Like WoB to WoR) 3. How can one determine if a battle script is good? Like if you coded the FFVI final boss, you cannot see how it goes for a long time until you get to the fight? Is their a tool that simulates the fight?
1. the file must already be encrypted with the new animations to use USME to work them. USME uses code in the file and rearranges them or changes them with others already inside. I'm unsure if USME would be able to add animations since I haven't used it in a while. However if there is a feature there you would have to use another third party editor to extract the animations from the other game and find a way to encrypt it to the other. I have no knowledge to how this is achieved. 2. I believe there is a way to change the scripted events as I've seen a few hacks that have extensive alterations to the main story. 3. There is no tool as far as I'm aware to allow you to test your script. However, I will recommend on alternate method into doing so. What you can do depending on where your party is located in WOR or WOB, is alter one of the random encounter menus in "Formation" and "Random" to have your boss in all areas of the encounter. That way you can walk to it on the world map.
do u have a mirage vest cause i got 1 and its kick ass, i got it from the arena and dont even remember how lol, but dont tell me, im a beast though im lvl 99 with almost everything possible on the game.
Well, your supposed to use a hex editor to expand the rom and even then, the extra space doesn't show up in the other editors until you move around code. This can result in the destruction of your rom if you don't know what your doing. It is a long and tedious job too. So, it seems it's unavoidable to overwrite a boss. What I did, I used monster 382 and 383. Since these monsters are unused in the game, they can be overwritten.
You can use the links provided in the description. Download the patch, the emulator, the 1.1 rom with it's own save file, and there you go! Oh and thanks for the comment. I worked pretty hard on this guy.
One thing I'm curious about... I've watched a few of your videos, & I like what i see, but are you actually trying to beat these guys, or just showing us the fight?
why dont you try hacking kefka? like, after you beat him he says something evil, than transforms, like, into a dragon with a cool name, that would be awesome(please give me credit if you use this idea)
At the start menu select STATUS and then Switch with R and L to GOGO, it will appear somenthing that looks like ``press Select to change Commands`` and then a window with ommands like Blitz,Magic,Items,Lore,Attack,Rage and Dance should appear, after that you can select which commands you want to put in GOGO
"Their stained with blood"
C'mon dude...
Literally unplayable.
@@ranmaster27 No, but it turned me gay.
"Feast on their fleash!"

Despite the lesser hardware, FF6 has some of the best looking magic, even versus some of the newer versions.
@Grímnir the Wise they should've just made only one meteor, not two with the learnable one having the most unsatifactory animation ever
By far the have the best magic animations all three of the fire ice and lightning 3’s are amazing to watch
Gogo's desperation attack is what meteor should've looked like
Thanks! Notice there was no "Quick" spamming. :)
And I like the original game so much that I don't want to change it. I do wish to add to it though.
Imagine if they add vargas as a secret boss
That quake was devastating.
Great video. The height of video games for the Era, and still holds for all human time for sure!
No problem. Happy to help.
Thanks, I haven't made any new vids in a while. However I'm planning a come back soon.
Thanks, it took me a while to make this video. This friggin' guy is so damn hard, the videos that I usually make for him are over 20 minutes long. As for how did I happen to squeeze all this in just under 9 minutes is simple... I was lucky. -.-
Indeed, same. :P
I also like to watch battles like that.
Well, I already know how to make my own attacks. I just haven't added them because I didn't want to erase the attacks coded into the original game. The only attack that I have altered was in the Diablos patch in which he uses the "Messenger" spell.
Where does this battle take place?

i would liked to fight this guy, it would be fun, and nice work dude, ive been a FF fan since i was 3 so i love it, I play FFs older than me lol
wish i had all the time to make custom bosses like this. i would love to add more scripts but i dont want to delete most of the other boss scripts so i was wondering if there was a way to add more bytes space without deleting from other scripts.
Well just downloaded this game and fought a test battle with Vyzoroy with a solo Shadow and I cut half of its HP or more!!
Job well done! 5/5
@andrewknight2 Actually, your quite right. It sure would have been... I guess i didn't think of it at the time.
top kek the dragon counter his own master
I like seeing this patch work. Very nice job and it's nice seeing some customization coming to one of my favorite games. Not to be an asshole too but... you used they're wrong with their. >.>
Thank you. ^_^
Impressive, good job. :P
oh and one more thing. when i do the hp thing the one thing i cant get after winning a battle is the exp and a winning item.
@Lashmush lol well they are only an optional challenge. But I guess I could have given something better than that. XD

You should be able too if you set it on the editor.
I know, I'd prefer to take on monsters without it. Gives me more of a challenge. ^_^
Where do you get the from?
do u have a mirage vest cause i got 1 and its kick ass, i got it from the arena and dont even remember how lol, but dont tell me, im a beast though im lvl 99 with almost everything possible on the game.

Is this the original snes verson. Or the gba.
I wanna fight them too
The text? Are you referring to the dialog of the story? Undoubtedly it would be nice. Unfortunately it's a tedious job.
They’re 🙄
daayuum nice work. i know my team of celes, terra, locke and shadow would have ate it LOL

Wait what? I saw The boss's ending lines in the script of an unmodded rom, so how come they're not used normally?
Mr. Joestar are you still alive?
Eww @ the spelling errors ("Their stained", "fleash"), but fun to watch!
why dont you try hacking kefka? like, after you beat him he says something evil, than transforms, like, into a dragon with a cool name, that would be awesome(please give me credit if you use this idea)
how did gogo got the lore
