Awesome watch :) Some constructive critiscism: the colours in the video will be more consistent if you manually define your white balance; it won't shift mid-shot like that. Looking forward to more Omega! Maybe a side-by-side with the blue variant?
Thanks again for the feedback. Can that be done from an iPhone from which we are currently videoing? As soon as we get a blue in stock it will definitely be going up. We plan to do the 300 vs. 300M as well as another video with all three (PO) Omega divers.
I really wanna love the Omega Seamaster 300, but the glare off of the domed crystal is the most extreme I've ever seen. I have some domed sapphire watches and they're nowhere near as bad as this, because they tend to be mostly curved at the edges and a lot flatter towards the centre. I had a look at an Omega boutique and I could barely make out the time. I really want a no date diver with the 8900 series co-axial movement (8912), but it needs to be highly legible. This is not it for me. There's the Planet Ocean 6000M, but it's around double the price, which although I can afford, I cannot justify that price. It is also ultra thick at 18mm, for that 6000M depth rating. If the crystal on the Seamaster 300 were less domed, I'd be all over it.
Brad, I never saw so many videos on the Omega Seamaster 300, perhaps you could influence Omega to make a 37 or 38mm Seamaster 300 and I would make the purchase. I love the Omega Seamaster 300!
Hi, congrats for the video. Between this one and the seamaster professional 300, which one do you believe is better? Does this one worth the extra 1200??
IMO, yes. The jump hour function is excellent, if you prefer a watch with no date. Twin barrel movement is a bit better too. Depends upon what you prefer and the fit. These two watches present differently.
I don't think I'd categorize as one better than other. They are so different (modern vs. vintage vibes) I think it really comes down to what speaks the most to you.
@@brentmillertime8778 i agree with you. They are both great watches. This difference of the money is what i dont understand. The professional has more valuable materials than the other...
It's such a shame that there is an obsession with female end links. The little nubbin of an end here spoils what could be a beautiful watch. The pattern of an oyster style bracelet should be uniform throughout, including the end link, regardless of whether the end link protrudes beyond the lugs...just saying
The star of the show.
Most elegant watch of the year
Wow...such enthusiasm.

So beautiful! Bought the latest model today
Congrats, enjoy wearing it!

A cheap UV flashlight will sort out your lume woes :)
Thanks for the feedback. The issue has more to do with not being able to turn off the light but we are looking at alternatives. Thanks for viewing!

That's a fair point regarding the end links. Thanks for viewing!
