I became a fan in December of 2018.... best chose of my life and all the choices I usely make are bad because they never work out...but this choice was a great one
Same. I found him early last year, but I wish I would found him earlier. Therapy Session would probably made middle school and easier experience for me. I'm just glad I'm listening to his music now.
The more the industry "ignores/tries to hide" artists like NF, the more strength and determination he will have, knowing, seeing, believing, he's still being heard and he's not being stopped from getting his work to his fans...
Your loved, even though you might here it a lot and might blow it off, it’s true.focus what you want to do in life and PRUSUE it,you feel so much better in life when you accomplish something, you forget about your problems. You’ll be loved by a lot more people and feel it to, not because of what you did, but of because the amazing person you’ve become. The feeling of accomplishment will fill you with pride, and you should never really feel depression again. Focus on the FUTURE.
@@purebred2048 dude it's hard to focus on things that makes you happy because there are soo little of them already..... accomplishing something will not make you happy it will just make a another target to accomplished...
My favorite thing about NF is that he can get so angry in his music and have so much emotion but he doesn't curse. He's literally my favorite music artist, which is saying a lot because I don't typically listen to rap music.
I didn’t even pick up on the fact he doesn’t swear until after about month. Seriously, I could usually pick up on that type of stuff but his flow was amazing so i guess I was caught up in that.

I'm tryna tell 'em my story! I'm sorry, I wasn't yellin' at y'all, I was talkin' to the voices I rip out the drums of the industry's ears for tryin' to ignore me And playin' while singin' this chorus I'll just be the outcast (let's go let's go) I'll just be the outcast I'll just be the outcast I guess I'll be the outcast I'll just be the outcast (let's go let's go) I'll just be the outcast I'll just be the outcast I guess I'll be the outcast
Relatable. This track actually means a lot to me because I am the weirdest kid at school, I’m not the smartest, I’m not the strongest. When I say I want to be in the army or a scientist or even a musician because I play guitar, everyone looks at me like I’m crazy. Not even my friends understand me. Only five people in this planet understand me
@@chaseashton611 bro same problem i have in school, im not even fitted in their environment im a very different to them i like studying about different ideologies, philosophy and have slightly dark humor that a normal 15 year old dude probably doesn't have,my point in every situation always mislead to what my really intention is and made to loose my friends one by one. I tried to be socialized before but our way of thinking doesn't really fit much a completely opposite that they always think me as the villain.
Jay barnett there is a lot you need to learn. Here is some songs you should listen to from nf. -paralyzed -mansion -outro -intro -lie -perception -therapy session -WHY Don’t get me wrong, I like let you down but I think it steals the spotlight of all of his other songs
NF is one of few rappers that I manged to find at the right time in my life.. His Music was a message of hope when I thought I would never make it out. It wasn't until the start of year that everything changed. NF inspired me to take my pain and put it into my own songs to spread a message the same way he does. No matter what you are going through - you are always capable of doing so much more than you ever know. Don't let anyone make you feel like you are worthless! Use your pain as fuel to move forward and better yourself as a person. Everything will be fine as long as you don't give up.
RighteouSinner a friend of mine showed me him my sophomore year of high school he was the artist I needed. I was not in the best mind frame. He’s the artist everyone needs, and I feel proud he’s getting the attention he deserves 🖤🖤
I just wanted to say thank you so much Nate. Ive struggled with self harm and depression for the past couple years. My mom, who has tried to take her own life multiple times, just recently succeeded. She died of a prescription drug overdose. Your music has touched me so much. Ive broken down multiple times because of how real it is.Thank you so much for your music and being real. It helps so much.
yosua griffis I have many times, and even cried to it. Ive listened to every NF album and song i could find, includong his older stuff. Thank you for the recommendation though, it is definitely a good one.
Matthew M awww im so so sorry if you need me i have facebook and instagram. And i have depression as well and have troubles with self harm. Im so sorry for your loss and i hope things get better for you💓
I actually love rap but my problem with rappers is usually the way the treat women, in their videos or their words (or both). I think I've finally found a rapper I can genuinely appreciate !
@@nrggvrn5576 People just like that aren't rappers..write about drugs, money or women and call it "Rap" it's leaves the Rap astray Greetings from Argentina, bro
I hate rap. Rappers who sing about money, drugs, women, etc. Are dead to me. The only rapper i liked who did sing about those things was Mac Miller. But hes dead now. I only like rappers who wright meaningful stuff. Like logic, NF, etc. I like eminem too, cause he writes songs about people he cares about. Like his daughter or wife. He doesnt wright about random women he had sex with.

NF is the only rapper I’ve ever heard who doesn’t rap about how great he thinks he is. Anyone can relate to him in some way. There are no words to explain how great this song is.
James N. cussing is for the weak minded person because their vocabulary cannot replace a four letter word for a more logical and less disturbing choice of vocabulary this is also coming from a 9th grader.
I'm 42 years old and you're a messages are the most outstanding thing I've ever heard in my life? You are incredible. So many will heal from your music. There is nothing out there like you. Thank you for everything you do. Blessings on to you! All glory be to God!

The cage is his fear. Hes become accustomed to it but can also leave if he wants to. People are let in, but they can't really understand him until he leaves his cell and steals his room back from fear. I like how his music sends a real message about his life and how he feels. It really teaches a lesson, that you shud be different and you can leave the cage of fear if you want to. Really amazing message, one of my favorites.
The True Resurrect fear is just a part of it. He references in How Could You Leave Us that "pain is a prison let me out of my cell." So imo the cage is all of his emotions like fear and pain and he's starting to realize he has the keys to get out of the cage and the keys are his music and his fans.
I think the prison is just his life. He lets few into his life and prefers to stay closed off from the world. He's locked away even though he could get out
The crazy thing bout NF is he can tell you a whole story in a 5 minute song and you can walk away knowing you took from that song and you understood why he did it and all without even cursing every other word i have so much respect.. I love this music❤❤
Cailon Delano to be fair lil yatchy is essentially a character. Unlike NF, he's not trying to deeply connect with people hes just cheering people up which isn't any less respectable.
davyn ricketts Yeah, and it cheers people up because they envision themselves having the same success. There are a lot of mainstream rappers that rap about hard topics, NF isnt the first. NF is great, but don't discredit other rappers.
+Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova I'm discrediting the people who think their hot shit but have money thats it. It doesnt cheer you up it drives your ego up to make it seem that wat
I like that analogy.. Eminem is rap god MGK is rap devil nf is dark prince just need to fit in lil dicky logic and jack Harlow with some Witt Lowry.. whewwwww
Can I please get a thumbs up if NF has really helped you get through all of life's problems such as depression, loneliness, suicide, fear, and all of that stuff. And if he really helps you keep going and pressing forward in life letting you know that YOU are good enough, and that there are people out there going through some of the same things. Cause I sure know he has helped me.

6 years ago I was put into a program because of my major anger issues. Every Sunday there was a Christian group you could choose to join and we would talk about some problems we had over the week and how god solved them. Then we played some music. This was one of the songs that was ALWAYS played. I had no idea it was this guy. It makes me very happy that I have found this song again
My favorite line ever I think “ here’s some lines you can dissect, if I die I’m gunna die giving it everything I have” or “ I’m not mike Tyson I won’t bite you, but I will tell you if I don’t like you!” I can’t stop listening to this song man
Zan Gano the thing you have to understand is that some people get so emotional that they end up cussin which ain’t there fault but I do give him props for not cussing
Hey NF,I know you probably won't see this. But I just wanted you to know you've completely changed me. I've been listening to you for at least 3years. I told my friends about you and they love you, they told their parents about you and now they love you. Your music is my escape from reality. I have so much drama in my life with family and friends. Thank you for everything you have done to get this far. Your truly amazing. Keep going...NEVER STOP ☺☺☺
I just saw him in concert last night and I had only heard of him, never really listened to his music, but once I did I felt so connected to him, and it was so cool seeing him get into character, he even had that cage on stage with him, definitely gonna listen to him more in the future❤️
I love how NF can convey such intense emotion without cussing. He can keep you hooked in his story without talking about drugs or money, like other "rappers" have to do, to keep their audience engaged. His music is so raw and relatable, that's why people love it. He doesn't need to put on a fake face and a big show to get fans. "Real music" is right, this is some if the realist stuff I've ever heard. He's going far and he's absolutely killing the game. I can't wait to see him perform live one day!🔥🔥🔥
Hell yea it is Music is expression of self Since listening to NF I’ve transitioned back from my angry music edge... to a bit more hopeful. Maybe I do have a hand in the future NF is real Possibly the most real
"Guess I don't fit the mold of rap 'cause I'm respecting women" thank you God for finally getting a good, relatable, awesome, respectful, and equal rapper.

Just discovered him a week back i feel like have been listening to trash songs
Still prefer the search the best
@@nwandaGGRAM lol same here, but I was introduced to him in Jan and honestly I don't listen to other artists at all..
The best part of NF is he’s unique, doesn’t try to fit in, isn’t afraid of being different, he doesn’t even curse.
Yes
Hes a rare treasure in the sea of all those drug-women dis.-all bout money rappers.

Welcome to REAL MUSIC😁
I became a fan in December of 2018.... best chose of my life and all the choices I usely make are bad because they never work out...but this choice was a great one
Same. I found him early last year, but I wish I would found him earlier. Therapy Session would probably made middle school and easier experience for me. I'm just glad I'm listening to his music now.
The more the industry "ignores/tries to hide" artists like NF, the more strength and determination he will have, knowing, seeing, believing, he's still being heard and he's not being stopped from getting his work to his fans...
I swear, NF. Pray he never stops.

NF is the kind of guy not everyone will want to listen to, but makes everyone feel when they do listen. He is amazing.
Never heard of a Christian rapper until NF
Best human being. ever
Occasional Emily he’s not a Christian rapper
He's not rapping about Christian content, he's just Christian. So he's clean...
Occasional Emily I know but he’s not CHH. He’s stated he’s just a rap artist
Gavin Poad he’s stated he’s not a Christian rapper any more. Drake raps about God too. Does that make him a Jewish rapper?
NF use to rap about God more. He has a song called "I got Jesus" It's pretty good!
I never thought of it that far, thanks though. Either way, it is still amazing.
Thought he killed his fear in intro 3. Also he said he was the one holding the keys to the prison in intro 3.
I think the prison is just his life. He lets few into his life and prefers to stay closed off from the world. He's locked away even though he could get out
reading this gave me goosebumps. his vision is remarkable, and it's not even fully revealed
The crazy thing bout NF is he can tell you a whole story in a 5 minute song and you can walk away knowing you took from that song and you understood why he did it and all without even cursing every other word i have so much respect.. I love this music❤❤

I like space, I don't fit in the crowds
My whole life I've been airin' it out
Oh, I'm gettin' into character now
Feels wrong, but it feels right
My feelings seal tight real nice
But I will fight anything to win
But I'm not Mike Tyson, I won't bite ya'
But I will tell you if I don't like you
I am not the norm
I got my own shoes, I ain't tryna fit in yours
I never been married, but I've felt divorced
*Hi, I'm Nate, have we met before?*
Somebody told you I was wack? Check the source
Somebody told you I was back? Yes, of course
You got a problem with the fans? There's the door
You lookin' for the old me? Check the morgue, agh!
Not a fortune-teller, but I can see into the future better
Ain't no tellin' what'll happen when I pick up the microphone, get the fans together
Same style, but the songs are better
Been a year and a half, feels like it's gone forever
Ain't no drink in my hand, but you know the buzz is comin'
Big steps in the game, yeah, the Hulk is running
My thoughts are funny, it feels like I'm onto something, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
I'm high off the music, my head's in the clouds
I kinda like it up here, I am not comin' down
I'd rather be alone, I am not good in crowds
Which is kinda confusin', I've no been that way since a child
They laughin', they tell me I'll never get out
I'm just tryna be me, I am nobody else
I don't care what you think, I'm just bein' myself
So I guess for now
[Chorus]
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I guess I'll be the outcast
[Verse 2]
Yeah, I guess I don't fit the mold of rap
'Cause I'm respectin' women
"I heard your record, I was laughin at it"
Maybe they would like me more if I got a little graphic with it
Nah, I don't wanna blend in with you little rappin' idiots, I'd rather be the outcast
I ain't never puttin' out trash
I take a hundred and staple it right to my tongue
I always put the money where my mouth's at, ah!
Feels good to be here now
I'm a weird person with a weird crowd
What, you don't like that?
That's cool, that's great, that's fine, okay, you can leave now
Got a weird smile, but I like it though
I paint it on me and I'm walkin' to the microphone
And put the caution tape around me like I did in Intro I, yeah!
Yeah, they got me reminiscin' now!
Yeah, you done know I'm 'bout to go mad
Never wanted something so bad
Goosebumps through the whole track
Ain't no way I'm gonna hold back
Got me thinkin' that I'm cookin' in a meth lab
I don't blow it up in front of my own eyes
You look a little lost, you ain't get that?
Comin' from a town where nobody hears a rap like this
I never get the memo, must've missed that
Wow!
Here I go in my feelings again, I can feel it again
So I lay in my bed, in my cell with the pen
And I dwell on my sins, I keep wonderin' when
Time to open the the doors, they don't know who I am
But I pick up the keys and I put on my Timbs
And I stare at the locks and the tat on my skin
And I think to myself, "I don't wanna fit in"
[Pre-Chorus]
I'm high off the music, my head's in the clouds
I kinda like it up here, I am not comin' down
I'd rather be alone, I am not good in crowds
Which is kinda confusin', I've no been that way since a child
They laughin', they tell me I'll never get out
I'm just tryna be me, I am nobody else
I don't care what you think, I'm just bein' myself
So I guess for now
[Chorus]
Yeah, I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I guess I'll be the outcast
[Verse 3]
Yeah, tryna focus
Take a knife to my head then I cut it open
Take my brain, put it on the floor tryna figure out my motives
Y'all thought I was an issue when the door was locked
Nah, you should see me when the door opens
Every night I can hear voices
Put a camera in my face, might turn Joker like I'm Mike Posner
Always been a little complex
Difficult to process
Some of y'all wanna sit around and try to pick apart my bars
Here's some lines you could dissect:
If I'ma die, I'ma die givin' everything that I have
Take a deep breath, I don't need y'all's respect
I'm a reject kid at recess playin' games with his make-believe friends
Yeah, I don't ever take a night off
Lights off in the room and I write songs
I might fall into my thoughts once in a while when the mic's off
You ain't ever seen no drive like mine, better hop outta my car
I'm about to unlock my doors
You ain't got a seat belt on, better find one
Gettin' sick of people tellin' me to smile more
T.S. was a chapter I'll never forget, it was therapy for me
But it's time to turn the page now
Hey, shut up! I'm tryna tell 'em my story!
I'm sorry, I wasn't yellin' at y'all, I was talkin' to the voices
I rip out the drums of the industry's ears for tryin' to ignore me and playin' while singin' this chorus
[Chorus]
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I guess I'll be the outcast
[Chorus]
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I'll just be the outcast
I guess I'll be the outcast
Stay Lit that was fast
Brendan Shea S where hoods
Stay Lit thanks man
Stay Lit sick
Stay Lit Thank you! ))
He's growing so fast. Musically and personally.
Free society open the borders close the banks shut down the governement impliment free resource based society educate the masses. Watch venus project. By jaqcue fresco
I noticed that, too
He’s not the second Eminem he’s the first Nate
I love that. That's so true.
Factual....he's better than eminem and as a millennial I understand his music way more
Everyone says he’s an Eminem clone but in my opinion he’s better then Eminem
Eminem is fake. He was gay all the time but always rapped about women ? LOL. NF is on his own lane .
I really don't see why people think nf is anything like Eminem. Nf js obviously one of a kind & way better.
NF songs get better every time you listen to it
Nate: "I got my own shoes I ain't tryna fit in yours"
Every other rapper: *gets scared*
lmao NF is not a threat to anyone
PETE DENNIS
alright kid keep overrating him lmao
frank idk man.. you got x in your playlist now that’s an overrated rapper tbh trash
Matthew Reatrd
really bro lmao my playlist has 170 songs on it and I have like 5 songs from X on it. I honestly don’t like most of his music either, I believe his legacy lied in the message he was trying to convey to the youth. I don’t even understand why you felt the need to say that lmao
frank My point is rappers like X were highly overrated, unlike NF who are still underrated
Just remember, he is 30 yrs old. So I'm thankful that he has saved many teenagers lives but also know that he has possibly saved your parent's life as well at some point in time bc they can also relate to him
Amen. . .. Nate helped me 44 year's old OUTCAST
[Verse 1]
Woke up in the cell, where am I at?
Yeah, it's cold, but I like that
What am I, trapped?
Heart's beating out of my chest
Door's locked, but the keys are in my hands
Hmm, yeah, that's weird, it doesn't make sense, does it?
I make songs, I don't make friends-judge me
Might smile, but it ain't that funny
Sing along to the pain, they love it
Life's like a merry-go-round
And I'm still tryna figure it out
I like space, I don't fit in the crowds
My whole life I've been airin' it out
Oh, I'm gettin' into character now
