I think rescue ace is very cool, if snake eye gets hit hard then rescue ace might be the next best alternative. Only issue is it's harder to play with more bricks, so naturally other decks may usurp it
i love reinforce. it can reset field spell and field can shuffle it back. thats such a nice grind the Deck has and a 4500 monster is crazy hard to out.
I don’t think this wins the match, but I think in game 3, Chundra was the better search. Reason being is because he had magma in hand. If they discarded veiler then they don’t lose to the preventer book or princess I think. You can normal the chundra then summon magma getting rid of the veiler or the I:p. At that point, the R-ace player has to decide whether or not to use the princess. There’s a chance they could mess up and just let the summon go through without princess interupt and save the preventer to book the chundra in bp, but if they use the princess, it turns off the book eff and they would have to decide if they keep preventer or not. Depending on what they choose, the chundra could get them back into the game potentially. Just a thought.
I would love to see if the Rescue player has Underworld Goddess in their deck. Reinforce could be chained to Droplet (@4:20) to allow IP to link into Knightmare Phoenix (live Promethean) or even better Goddess (IP + Paidra + Preventer + Hydrant), then she's unaffected by Droplet and will stop a revive (even during damage step) while Chundra is useless in the hand. What is even funnier is that if Apollo was chained to Paidra, then IP made Underworld using said Paidra, Sangen Summoning no longer protects that effect because it isn't applying to Paidra during resolution (it's in the GY due to Goddess). I'm not saying these are great plays, just funny interactions.
Why did we not veiler turb and just casually let our opponent set 4? Like if they chain sp you chain ogre cuz it's probablly gonna target it's self and keep hydrant so that they can keep playing
@@IKamen-z8o Because LS was already an answer to "Turb set 4" anyway, didn't play into Talents and had 1 field spell to eat Turb's pop effect when IP got Ogre'ed (despite the opponent forgetting it) while Veiler would be the discard for the 2nd field spell. Droll cooked them when Chundra would have been the safer option since the field spell wasn't Ashed but I say this because I see the hand
Also why did they grab paidra instead of chundra g3? Sure they didn't know about droll but imagine if that droll was ash you go bp quick play they ash you lose you cannot say they played around imperm cuz they had nothing set and they didn't have to play around veiler cuz they had field spell up.
I think the meta matches are fine, i think what people are really looking for is variety - which old format replays could provide 😊 Thanks for the video as always
You can get hand trapped to death. Duster/ L storm into eclipse is also pretty tough, and duster crow on reinforce to reset rescue can be a blow out as well. Reinforce on, well any race monster that's not hydrant, makes otking a good amount harder for tenpai and its pretty much impossible to otk through prosperity through reinforce. You can put them on having 2 somewhat specific breakers, and if they can't start with the field you can easily just remove the normal summon and stop the otk then. I think race has some of the best match ups against pure SE and tenpai this format, its a really slept on deck.
Damn, this match was crazy. We almost got an interaction between the two decks
After a long think, the tenpai players reasoning for not using veiler g3 makes a lot of sense and is more than fair enough

Depends on how long it takes. Infernoid might see some play.
Yubel is gonna go hard
Rescue Ace SE is the only Snake Eye deck that's somehow fun.

Keep going with meta matches, they just have to deal with it, this is meta, you provide competitive yugioh gameplay, so keep it up man! We like it!
Where can we send You the replays? I have sent You some replays and seems that discord is not working.
why the tenpai player didnt attempt to stop poplar at the start of g3?
High chance of instant death to tactics

He probably didn’t want to risk talents since lightning storm is incredible strong vs rescue Ace
@@yaredkokeb5362 yeah but like there is no way you just not gonna use your hts to play around talent if that is your gameplan don't play hts

feather duster + droplet + fenrir + paidra

You play me at Raleigh I was playing snake eye rescue. So it's not your first seeing it
ye i meant like since it’s gotten played on master duel
I wanna know how all tenpai players open fieldspell, paidra and droplets
More despia/lightsworn/thunder dragon
If tenpai added chundra in game 3 life would have been better for him
Does nobody realise andre torres was the originator of snake eye kash before master duel
if you are talking about his 3rd place finish then he wasnt the one who started the trend
sore throat 🤨📸
Tenpai more like borepai

There we go again dbg demolishing the german names
I don’t know how rescue ace can lose to tenpai at all.

Ill take Tenpai over snake eye any day. Just have to get some good tenpai replays.
are those a thing? jajaja
Yeah the ones that always open a counter hand
Please let’s see less snake eyes
Spieler is german for player youre butchering the word so much like always xd
