It's simultaneously amazing and kind of sad that it's so rare to find wild animals who haven't learned to fear humans. I'm thankful to have found someone who can so artistically document their beauty, as human destruction of their habitats proceeds around the world without shame or remorse.
Hello All, I've applied a cheeky 10% discount on my shop this weekend. Use RUclips10 at check out on 2022 Calendars or Greeting Cards! 🐿 www.daniconnorwild.com ✨
Just ordered some cards. Love your work, Dani. Btw the confirmation email I got said "Your Site Title: Order Confirmed" in the subject line. Guessing it's either a temporary glitch, or you forgot to set the site title on a field in Squarespace somewhere. :-) Anyway, keep up the good work and best of luck on your travels.
16:50 looks like a postcard. I’m so glad you’re getting to live your dream. I want to encourage everyone who is not a patreon to sign up and help you continue living this dream.
Seems like everywhere you go animals come to you. They sense you're gentle and caring. What a way to live as an example for animal haters. Keep up the good work
Absolutely amazing. This is my go to education for my young daughter and me. Your articulation, presentation, photography and video skills are brilliant. Thankyou so much for sharing your adventures, we will be looking forward to the next one...
Never knew i would be binging a RUclips channel. But here i am after so many adventures with your calm, smart presence all the while educating me. The fact that most animals are like, oh no worries it's Dani ;-) makes for so many gorgeous beautiful shots!
Damn this channel and it's videos are so calming and nice to watch. I'm amazed by the shots you pull off. Not only that, you provide information on the animals/locations whilst doing it. I cannot believe how close you got to the male spider monkeys.
Thank you so much, Dani. Your videos are always excellent quality, personal, & delightful. Wonderful photography! Really remarkable shots! Thrilling. A really nice ranch; an oasis in the jungle. Thank you patron & father. Thank you for sharing. Take care, stay safe. Many blessings
Does she know how photographic she herself is - as she's talking to the camera with the sun across her face with the wind and that beautiful background at 16:10 - such a beautiful scene
After the pandemic, you should come photograph Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands). There are lots of amazing moments to capture between spirit bears, sea wolves, whiskey jacks and marmots unique to this area! The whiskey jacks and marmots will come right up to you as if out of a Disney movie!
And the *ART!* I haven't had the pleasure of going myself, but I discovered your indigenous people's art and the heart breaking history of tattoos as preservation of ancestral interpretation of the local wildlife, and I fell shockingly hard and fast for everything about it! The colors used were Exactly my very favorite hues that can not be found anywhere else in the world, especially in those combinations. The strong continuation of lifestyle that is being carried on by the youth under the wings of the elders is an inspiration that gives me hope for the human race. Just Beautiful!!
I only recently discovered your channel I've been binge watching it and subscribed to you patreon.I love nature and have spent the last 15 or so years travelling to experience as much as I can. I don't work for money as such but to travel and see stuff. New Zealand to USA and almost everything in between. Love your videos.
Next time you fly over, stop in Georgia, USA. Head down to Savannah, GA and drive through to Tybee Island, GA. The island is only 3 miles long by 1.5 miles wide. You would love to see the Roseate Spoonbills. I only learned about them 2 years ago. Our dolphin population is amazing.
Great photographs. They are so captivating especially when you caught them staring right into your lens. Thank you for bringing these wildlife to us. Would like to invite you to my place, Sarawak, in the island of Borneo where you can feast on all kinds of wildlife like the Orang Utans, proboscis monkeys, sun bears, just to name a few.
I love your work! You are most Certainly living one of my best dreams- but I can't help but ask the same question that came to mind the very first time I'd seen your viral content: *Why aren't you wearing knee pads???* Seriously! During the summer months here in Minneapolis I can always be found foraging around my apartment yard, which is one of the oldest undisturbed lots in the city, or else I'm that 'crazy punk rock lady' on her knees discovering beautiful stones after the rains on a street corner boulevard somewhere-anywhere. I use black cotton knee high socks with the toes cut off and I reuse disposable black face masks , tying the ear elastics together behind my knees. This is great protection from moisture and painful terrain, allowing me to kneel painlessly without hesitation, instead of having to squat-balance constantly. I DIY just about everything that I do but you can get pull-on dancer's knee pads that would be perfect for what you do so that you can get down in the terrain without much concern as to where the sensitive knee is going to connect and allow you to balance comfortably for every shot. It makes a World of difference!! [For Minnesota winters I have a sub zero 1960's full snowmobile suit that is like wearing a giant body-pad, so that season is covered for me. I'm surprised that you too don't employ this type of cover for long term photo shoots, but having a more industrial grade knee pad for those seasons would also be a game changer! ] Keep living the dream, no matter What gear you choose!!
Where can you be nominated for an award? You have absolutely more than earned it!!!
Who else is voting for Dani besides me?
I gave my wife your calendar for her birthday. She loves it. It’s great!
