I’m a Barnet supporter and we’ve spent more time at the ground in national league than league two, you won’t see any better facilities in the championship or even the premier league…not the ground itself but what it’s got inside it
Great vlog Sam! Good to see a Derby like this being shown about! Our game v Barnet was a battle of 2 extremely poor teams. Boreham Wood are typically the smallest club in the league but their squad is class and look good for a promotion push and turned up in numbers too! Nice one! 👍🏻
Borehamwood now are what Barnet were a few years ago, massively overachieving for the size of their club, and good for them. A little sad to see how far Barnet have dropped , with their facilities they should be football league at least instead of barely surviving in the National League. Great video 👍

Greetings from New Zealand, I have chatted with you before, I never ever thought that you would ever feature Barnet. When I was living in London in 1991, Barnet had just gained promotion to the football league, I think that it was Division 4 back then. I was looking for a team to support, I couldn't bring myself to support Arsenal, didn't really fancy Spurs, the other nearest club at the time was Barnet, they are of course grass roots, and I decided to follow them. They are a yo-yo team, I think a club of their finances, and resources should be back in the EFL, however their form has slipped, to the point where they are having difficulty retaining players and managers, and attracting a decent and settled squad. A lot of supporters question the motives of the chairman. I look forward to going back to the UK one day, and seeing Barnet in the EFL, where I believe they belong. As a Carlisle fan we had a bit of a beef with Barnet. Through gritted teeth I have to say it looks like a good community club. Great facilities. In truth if I lived in North London I think I’d probably get my football fix there. We will probably be back next season! Up the bees!

People will hopefully support Wrexham from across north Wales. Back in the late 80’s and 90’s I thought the Wrexham kop was excellent. Thanks for the response and all the very best
Not really a North London Derby, could be considered a Hertfordshire Derby. Similar to how Barnet v Stevenage was dubbed as. Also Borehamwood is in Hertfordshire. That aside a great video
true the only real north london derby is spurs v barnet but still more of a north london derby than woolwich v spurs and watford v spurs since borehamwood is closer to north london than watford

I'm from Edinburgh and a Hearts supporter but I was in North London when I saw the Barnet Shop I went in and bought a Barnet Top and Scarf it looks a bit like the Dundee United strips and the scarf had the "Bees" on it. so Yes I have heard of that derby match.
you should go to the maidenhead ground because it holds the record for the oldest stadium in the world, the ground has been there since 1870 and is still standing

Last time I went to Barnet FC (Underhill) Barry Fry was in-charge of them, late 80's (Barnet v Cheltenham).

I visited Barnet once, I have family there, had no idea they had a football team. Also thought Brentford where I lived at the time were The Bees.
There moved out of Barnet that y you didn't realise bud the council forced them out and Saracens moved to barnet
