I LOVE TO SEE YOUR PLATES! That's why I watch RUclipsrs cook. It helps me SO MUCH. Three years ago, I spent 8 days on a ventilator, in a medically-induced coma, not expected to live, then not expected to walk unassisted. Thank God I've managed to regain most of the abilities that I lost (like the ability to write and type), but I still have trouble with artsy, creative things. I have trouble planning meals, managing the groceries, and making pretty plates. I'm not here for entertainment. I need to feed people, and I was never one who just threw food willy-nilly on a plate. I write down meals I want to make and who made them so I can refresh my memory. You have a ministry here, and I appreciate it! That said, I love to roast a whole chicken with potatoes and carrots and then turn the leftovers into soup the next day. It never gets old, and I never forget how.

I love those tortilla strips for salads. Also the red pepper salad topper they sell is really good too. All of these look so good! We eat chicken more than any other meat.

Another week of delicious meals. I have chicken thawing for supper and wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it until I watched this. I haven’t mad that melt in your mouth chicken in a very long time so we are having it tonight. I make your Stella’s Chicken Casserole pretty often, except we have always called it Chicken Supreme. I love making those little cheesecakes. I ALWAYS make them around Xmas but I usually make them in a muffin tin or mini muffin tin and spread the crescent a little up the sides...I make the filling similarly but I use confectioners sugar and after I put the cherry or strawberry filling on top and bake them i add a little tiny bit of mint on top and they are just the cutest xmas dessert

I always do my baked tatas kinda like urs except...i use my dukes season/garlic powder n pepper & any other fav season i got on top of my tatas n i cook them in microwave!😉
Oh I just put in a tablespoon or two of butter and a few spoonfulls of brown sugar. Get them boiling and then turn them down to simmer. My husband always puts more brown sugar on his once they're on his plate. I think we've talked about his sweet tooth before LOL
You never disappoint on your videos. Really like what you had to share with us. Everything looked so so delicious. Anything you make comes out fantastic! You just have that special touch. Do you ever cook baked potatoes in a air fryer? Oh my they come out so delicious. Would free up your oven plus not make the kitchen hot when summer comes. I baked mine for about 45 mins for pretty good size ones and 30 mins. if they are really small. I rub a little bit of oil over them, the sprinkle coarse salt on them. I could eat baked potatoes every day. We have them a couple of times a month. Always like to have them if we are having steak or hamburger steak. I kinda get in a rut fixing the same things over and over. Every Tuesday has been Mexican food for a few weeks now. I make some really good home made Spanish rice and we usually have burritos or chimichangas with guacamole salad. I can make it look so good on a plate, as well as it tasting delicious. We usually always have some kind of chicken once a week and pizza and salad. So then I just have to come up with 4 more meals, which isn't a problem. Lol. We like about anything and really like country cooking food. Can't beat pinto beans, corn bread, mac & cheese and some kind of meat. Love cooked cabbage and any kind of greens. I made breakfast for supper the other night. Fried eggs, bacon, grits, hash browns, and biscuits & gravy. I usually have tomatoes to go along with it, but we didn't have any. 😞 We have been buying the campari tomatoes and they are so good and sweet. We aren't big sweets eaters but I do make brownies every now and then, and they go fast. The cherry dessert looked delicious. Well I need to stop cause talking about food is making me so hungry. So i prepped it ystrdy n put it in the oven 2dy...the only think i did diff was use bread crumbs instead of stuffin on top. I ddnt have any pep stuffing & i also put cheese on top. It jus done got abt 20min ago bt my hubby jus got hm fr work so well be eatin soon! TYVM😉

I see you make a lot of salads. Suggestion, and I never thought this would make a difference, but it does. I put the lettuce and dressing in a plastic container with a lid, and shake it, so the dressing gets every piece. Then put whatever toppings you want on it. We just stopped pour on the dressing since. And it makes it so you can judge how much you need after tossing it. Where as we would typically have poured over the top and ended up with too little or too much.

I love making those little cheesecakes. I ALWAYS make them around Xmas but I usually make them in a muffin tin or mini muffin tin and spread the crescent a little up the sides...I make the filling similarly but I use confectioners sugar and after I put the cherry or strawberry filling on top and bake them i add a little tiny bit of mint on top and they are just the cutest xmas dessert

I always do my baked tatas kinda like urs except...i use my dukes season/garlic powder n pepper & any other fav season i got on top of my tatas n i cook them in microwave!😉

Oh I just put in a tablespoon or two of butter and a few spoonfulls of brown sugar. Get them boiling and then turn them down to simmer. My husband always puts more brown sugar on his once they're on his plate. I think we've talked about his sweet tooth before LOL

You never disappoint on your videos. Really like what you had to share with us. Everything looked so so delicious. Anything you make comes out fantastic! You just have that special touch. Do you ever cook baked potatoes in a air fryer? Oh my they come out so delicious. Would free up your oven plus not make the kitchen hot when summer comes. I baked mine for about 45 mins for pretty good size ones and 30 mins. if they are really small. I rub a little bit of oil over them, the sprinkle coarse salt on them. I could eat baked potatoes every day. We have them a couple of times a month. Always like to have them if we are having steak or hamburger steak. I kinda get in a rut fixing the same things over and over. Every Tuesday has been Mexican food for a few weeks now. I make some really good home made Spanish rice and we usually have burritos or chimichangas with guacamole salad. I can make it look so good on a plate, as well as it tasting delicious. We usually always have some kind of chicken once a week and pizza and salad. So then I just have to come up with 4 more meals, which isn't a problem. Lol. We like about anything and really like country cooking food. Can't beat pinto beans, corn bread, mac & cheese and some kind of meat. Love cooked cabbage and any kind of greens. I made breakfast for supper the other night. Fried eggs, bacon, grits, hash browns, and biscuits & gravy. I usually have tomatoes to go along with it, but we didn't have any. 😞 We have been buying the campari tomatoes and they are so good and sweet.
We aren't big sweets eaters but I do make brownies every now and then, and they go fast. The cherry dessert looked delicious. Well I need to stop cause talking about food is making me so hungry. Have a great day my sweet friend.

Hi momma mel😁...i luv ur dinner recipe videos...they all luk & sound so quick easy & delicious.😉 Before i watch this video...i wanted to tell u i made ur "stellas chicken cadserole" i seen it on a diff video few days ago & had to try it. So i prepped it ystrdy n put it in the oven 2dy...the only think i did diff was use bread crumbs instead of stuffin on top. I ddnt have any pep stuffing & i also put cheese on top. It jus done got abt 20min ago bt my hubby jus got hm fr work so well be eatin soon! TYVM😉

I see you make a lot of salads. Suggestion, and I never thought this would make a difference, but it does. I put the lettuce and dressing in a plastic container with a lid, and shake it, so the dressing gets every piece. Then put whatever toppings you want on it. We just stopped pour on the dressing since. And it makes it so you can judge how much you need after tossing it. Where as we would typically have poured over the top and ended up with too little or too much.
