The author, Qing-Feng, grew up in a family affected by domestic violence, where his dad constantly beat and scolded him for no reason. Growing up, he was also bullied in school and on media, but the way he handled all of these negativities and then wrote this song moved me deeply. Thank you for reacting to this song!

not sure if you guys would be interested, this is an indie artist from Taiwan called Desert Xuan (Chang Xuan), one of the best indie singer-songwriter of this generation. This one song is from her 2012 album- 'Games We Play', called "Significant Others", this particular song she had her best friend, lead singer from Sodagreen, to write the lyrics for her.
