She was the most beautiful and gracious individual i have ever interviewed. According to Shashi Gopal, head of then Music india, said she was the sole reason why the pop music industry exists in india today. She was the mother who laid the foundation for many great artists to follow. Rest in Peace.. we miss you.

what a timeless beauty. I was around 10 yrs when I heard her voice thru Disco Deewane. wow what a voice , music. All the songs were extraordinary in that album. but there was one particular song "komal" which used to bring tears to my eyes. Her beauty , her smile is enough to wash away sorrows from ones life and fill the room with energy and life. Sad she is no more. God why such precious jewels are taken so soon.
