My disabled pet pigeon, Piri, loves to hear the birds and your voice. As I was watching he got closer and closer and stared at the screen for a long time ❤️🕊 You are a multispecies whisperer 🌟
Aww. I had a pet pigeon few years ago, his name was Chicken because he lost his flight feathers as a baby and couldn't fly for a long time. He would just walk around the coop and yard like a chicken. Pigeons are lovely, and so smart ❤❤❤
Clumsy Pepper, my Piri has deformed legs, he can’t walk properly so he flies everywhere and lands on soft surfaces that I have all over the house, he is so curious and loves when I watch Bealtaine Cottage! He hears the birds singing and flies to where I am to watch! Did you release Chicken when he started flying again? I can’t release mine or he would be easy prey 😕
@@elig5709 poor Piri, must be difficult for him but it sounds like you're a really wonderful friend to him. Chicken was a member of a flock of homing pigeons I had, they all always came home. Unfortunately shortly after he started flying and started a family he, and many others, got sick with a young bird disease they got from another flock. I managed to save many of them but not him, he died in my arms.
I loved your comment. My family think I am weird. I refused to go out on grand day out because I had rescued sparrow chicks that had to learn their language. I had them perched in a roomy cage by the window. Also I was once given a swift from a distant neighbour as an injured bird. The horror on her face when I launched the swift out of my top window and then explained the lifecycle.
Words fail me when it comes to describing how wonderful and beautiful Nature is. It takes a beautiful soul and a good heart to be so intune with Her. And, you are such a woman, Collette. Keep on doing what you do because it really matters and we all need
We all need to be inspired and to be taught to respect the natural world. There is so much joy to be found in the simplest of pleasures. We who love the Earth know this: true happiness can be found in a garden.

What absolute heaven ❤❤❤. This video should be prescribed for anyone suffering high blood pressure. I cannot imagine a more beautiful garden. The Secret Garden was my favourite book as a child and this was sort of how I pictured it. Pathways leading off somewhere, secret corners, beautiful flowers spilling over, lush foilage, benches and old tables dotted in amongst everything telling stories of who maybe once sat there to take rest. Love it. Collette, you're a genius. For me, your incredible skill is that you make it look like its all happened naturally and by Mother Nature's hand alone yet we know the sheer amount of hard work and thought that has gone into it. I only recently became a subscriber and one of the things I most liked was watching Jack accompany you down the pathways, such a loving, expressive dog. July 2021 was the last video I could find that featured Jack. Then just today I found a video comment about SammyBear. The subscriber mentioned that Jack had also passed away. I don't think you could have posted a video about this and I understand how emotional it must have been for you. But I do wonder when his passing happened and why. He made your videos so rich with his presence. You must miss him so much - I know I will.

The 40 square feet of my balcony is filled with diversity because you inspired me my friend. I have mustard greens, sunflowers, phacelia, ivy, marigolds, petunias, fuchsia, bachelor buttons, hummingbirds, bees, hover flies, lady bugs, goldfinches, spiders, aphids, and more! Nature self-seeded and I've just been watering and letting it all grown. The other balconies look barren and sterile. Mine stands out like a sore thumb! LOL! Thank you for your guidance.

My perspective is that she absolutely knows all about it, as in all the changes etc, for everything is energy. I believe like a mother she knows all forms of life who depend on her, but as a master, if you will, she continues being true to who she is despite what may be going on. Even in this she teaches us, for those with hearts open enough to receive, or as people say with eyes to see. Blessings and abundance to all.

My perspective is that she absolutely knows all about it, as in all the changes etc, for everything is energy. I believe like a mother she knows all forms of life who depend on her, but as a master, if you will, she continues being true to who she is despite what may be going on. Even in this she teaches us, for those with hearts open enough to receive, or as people say with eyes to see. Blessings and abundance to all.
