Words fail me when it comes to describing how wonderful and beautiful Nature is. It takes a beautiful soul and a good heart to be so intune with Her. And, you are such a woman, Collette. Keep on doing what you do because it really matters and we all need
We all need to be inspired and to be taught to respect the natural world. There is so much joy to be found in the simplest of pleasures. We who love the Earth know this: true happiness can be found in a garden.
My disabled pet pigeon, Piri, loves to hear the birds and your voice. As I was watching he got closer and closer and stared at the screen for a long time ❤️🕊 You are a multispecies whisperer 🌟

I had a pet pigeon few years ago, his name was Chicken because he lost his flight feathers as a baby and couldn't fly for a long time. He would just walk around the coop and yard like a chicken. Pigeons are lovely, and so smart ❤❤❤
Clumsy Pepper, my Piri has deformed legs, he can’t walk properly so he flies everywhere and lands on soft surfaces that I have all over the house, he is so curious and loves when I watch Bealtaine Cottage! He hears the birds singing and flies to where I am to watch! Did you release Chicken when he started flying again? I can’t release mine or he would be easy prey 😕
@@elig5709 poor Piri, must be difficult for him but it sounds like you're a really wonderful friend to him.
Chicken was a member of a flock of homing pigeons I had, they all always came home.
Unfortunately shortly after he started flying and started a family he, and many others, got sick with a young bird disease they got from another flock. I managed to save many of them but not him, he died in my arms.

My family think I am weird.
I refused to go out on grand day out because I had rescued sparrow chicks that had to learn their language.
I had them perched in a roomy cage by the window.
Also I was once given a swift from a distant neighbour as an injured bird.
The horror on her face when I launched the swift out of my top window and then explained the lifecycle.

I wonder what the birds are tweeting with such exuberance? They are probably saying to each other ' Hey, this is paradise, spread the word far and wide'. I always get a feeling of joy visiting here Colette. As you walk away from the camera with Jack I can imagine a trail of plants and flowers pop up out of the earth behind you. x
When I replace the feeders there is always a high vibe of song across the trees. The birdies certainly do talk with one another.

Every show you learn something new here . It's a peaceful haven in a messed up world with a caretaker that will never give up no matter what befalls her . Animals that are human.... plants and trees that must come alive at night and dance with the wee folk. A magical place. Thank you.

Bealtaine Cottage was one of my first inspirations over a decade ago when I saw your pictures on a gardening website! I moved out of the big city to grow and nurture a rural backyard. Finding your channel, and watching you for the first time, almost feels like a homecoming for me!

I love how your home sort of blends with the garden, like it is part of the landscape. Not like you have a garden around your house, but more like you live in the garden itself. And your home is just another part of the garden. Love it!

My perspective is that she absolutely knows all about it, as in all the changes etc, for everything is energy. I believe like a mother she knows all forms of life who depend on her, but as a master, if you will, she continues being true to who she is despite what may be going on. Even in this she teaches us, for those with hearts open enough to receive, or as people say with eyes to see. Blessings and abundance to all.

The birdsong is amazing. Here the blackbirds start around 3 in the morning. At least that was the time when I woke up from their lovely songs.

Hi Collete I'm the one of your follower here in the Philippines and been subscribed to you a year ago...I viewed your lovely videos from time to time specially when I'm bored I love your cottage and I'm feeling relaxed when I heard those lovely birds singing and flowers blooming around your cottage...but Im wondering every video you have been uploaded doesn't have a single ads on it....I have my channel too and I'm still working on it to monitize ..my content is about DIY's to be honest I'm wondering I would get some ideas from you And make some DIY on it like your ark I love making flowers out crepe paper maybe I will make an ark with full of flowers And I'm thinking I would make my DIY cottage with full of DIY flowers inspired from you..thank you so much for sharing ideas Collete..god bless you
That’s a beautiful garden. It all looks so natural. Wonderful sanctuary. The birds seem to be bountiful there. We live in the southwest USA. Very dry and hot. It’s been in the high nineties and hundreds for several weeks now. We have to go out and water the vegetable and flower gardens every morning. We do what we have to do to keep things going.
We have to water every day- and we are in Seattle area. 3 months without rain. Then it will be 9 months of it.

Colette. I love your videos and what you have achieved with Bealtaine Cottage. I only recently became a subscriber and one of the things I most liked was watching Jack accompany you down the pathways, such a loving, expressive dog. July 2021 was the last video I could find that featured Jack. Then just today I found a video comment about SammyBear. The subscriber mentioned that Jack had also passed away. I don't think you could have posted a video about this and I understand how emotional it must have been for you. But I do wonder when his passing happened and why. He made your videos so rich with his presence. You must miss him so much - I know I will.

The 40 square feet of my balcony is filled with diversity because you inspired me my friend. I have mustard greens, sunflowers, phacelia, ivy, marigolds, petunias, fuchsia, bachelor buttons, hummingbirds, bees, hover flies, lady bugs, goldfinches, spiders, aphids, and more! Nature self-seeded and I've just been watering and letting it all grown. The other balconies look barren and sterile. Mine stands out like a sore thumb! LOL! Thank you for your guidance.

Love your garden Colette. Beech trees here in New Zealand develop a black soot on their trunk which houses a little insect that produces a single hair like structure that they excrete a dop of honey through. The bees feed on that honey which might explain your bees flying around your beech tree.
