Our daughter, who is now 45, watched "Annie" and "The Muppet Movie" forever. The part that was awful was when we would drive several times a year from OKC to Houston to visit relatives we would get new tapes for her Disney player. One time my husband said, "If I hear 'A Very Merry Unbirthday' one more time the player is going out the window." It got worse when they were teenagers we took her, her boyfriend and 2 other friends on a trip through Texas and they all had Walkmans and earphones and would be singing to whatever they were listening to. My hubby, who was in All State Choir and Band said all the Walkman would be going out the window. We would have them singing to Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Rascal Flatts all at once.

My husband is a WW II nerd so we saw Oppenheimer in a theatre. It was good, but once was fine. The entire family saw Barbie in the theatre and I have seen it at least 10 times at home. It was my first Gosling movie. I could watch him laugh in anything. I have seen "Dirty Dancing" too many times to count, but I was Baby's age in 1963 when it is set and I love the music. I saw "The Wizard of Oz" in theatre once, but have seen it many times after it came on TV when I was 10. I was working at a huge theatre in OKC when they brought it back out and saw it in IMAX. I had never noticed the live emu in the background during the segment where they meet the Tinman.

If you guys don't know who the interviewer is, he has an amazing youtube channel called Reelblend podcast where he interviews legendary directors and actors all the time and reviews films. Highly recommend supporting him and the rest of the gang on there!

"Drive" is on my list of movies to watch. Thanks for announcing that the driver dies in the end.

Drive is so good. Ryan’s character barely had a lines but you still are interested and in love with him. Definitely recommend. Also recommend The Nice Guys.

I love Ryan and Emily. I do have a question about Emily's fashion choices for all of these interviews lately. She seems to be channeling the worst impulses of the fashion industry from the 1970's! She's still beautiful and talented, though.

Wait, what? Her outfit looks great.

@@MsTriangle Well, I guess everything old is new again. I was in high school in the 1970's, and I thought the fashions were hideous then! This particular outfit isn't too bad, (and of course SHE looks great in anything) but some of the other short sleeved sweaters with geographic designs on them I've seen her wearing in other interviews just scream '70s to me. I am, admittedly, perhaps a bit biased. I'm really hoping she doesn't start a trend.
