All tests point to the drain pump on my unit, but I checked it and didn't find any socks or obstructions in the drain hose(s). Where do I check for these phantom socks. You vaccumed water out of the top of the machine....are you saying when you tilted it back and pulled hose you sucked from the drain hose and got a sock? Ive already swapped a shift actuator and I really dont want to keep throwing parts at this thing. Could the capacitor that starts the pump also be faulty? Is there a capacitor inside the drain pump?
I'm trying to figure mine out...took the pump off. If there were a sock or something where would it be? In the pump or come out of the tub it's hooked to?
I have this same pump on my washer. I changed out the gearbox due to the leaking oil. Calibrated machine and seemed to be working. After washing a load it stopped pumping. Checked pump And the motor is running but it is not turning. I can take screw driver and turn it while Motor is running and it will start spinning. Put back together and it stops spinning again. What do think ?
Hello, i know this video is old, but is there any way you remembered the model number of this washer. Mine is w10251314. I pray there's a sock stuck and nothing serious.
Sorry I do not. They have made this washer the same way for along time. Well similar over the years. Likely its similar Something stuck in it or it is a bad pump. Good luck!
Had bobby pins in my pump.. pulled them out and works perfectly. Thanks.
I took pump off plugged it into 120 power it ran fine, I get a click sound as if something wants to start then turns off?
