Corn Riggs (sometimes named as "Corn Riggs are Bonny") is an old tune (probably 17th century) with many different arrangements for country dancing. I'm not sure where our version derives from. Our arrangement of Paddy O'Boderam is derived from the Preston set of 24 Country Dances for 1799. Can anyone give details of the version of corn Riggs here. I have found several versions but they are not as long as this and the dance cuts off to soon. We are doing a 60th anniversary ball for my parents with this era as a theme.

Why does it seem that all the dancers are moving before the beat? They seem to be moving in advance of the music.
