I think the engine compartment bears a clear witness to the fact that the boat is twice overdue for blacking. Lovely interior though.

I like this one, she has a very nice interior, the original owner did a marvelous job of fitting her out. It's even nice that the upholstered furniture is gone, it would be good to have a clean, fresh saloon and bedroom (no mildew, stale smoke or pet odors)
I was absolutely loving her till I saw the engine room, warning flags there, would definitely need a very thorough hull survey done. If she passed, I'd want to have the engine pulled and rebuilt and the bilges cleaned and rust proofed while it was out. Then she'd be a great live aboard boat again.
I think she is reasonably priced as she can be a stunner when she is done up. I'd even keep the pink as long as the paint stayed in good condition - with lots of flowering plants and a small herb garden on top she'd be a floating "English Garden"! I'd probably change the accent colour though.

Knowing the place she was painted, that should last for years.

"Carousel cupboard"? Surely James meant to say "Pully-outy-cupboardy-thing"?

Indeed! A shocking error on his part! 😉

I would've thought it was a semi trad ! Removable walls for the toilet is interesting.
I've always wondered why they install a 4 burner hob, they do it with the majority of hobs and after 50 plus years I've never had an excuse to use more than 2 at any time.

Wow, the previous owners really cleaned it out, I was surprised to see the TV still there. Nice shell for 50k. The next owner will need to throw in an additional 12k to get it up to speed. Blacking, anodes, new toilet, fridge, repaint the terrible color, furniture etc. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, quirky or different are generous and to my mind charitable terms. Thank you James you do a great job but my personal peeve - where is the noble commodore? My guess is he is hiding from the paint colour!!

Thanks for putting the price in, I don't know why they constantly leave it out.

@@mabonbran8913It's because the price may change if it doesn't sell. If they embed it in the video, it would have to be edited or re-dubbed. It's always in the linked information, but you can't just click that on all devices, e.g. smart TVs, so someone usually pops it in the comments, as here. They could put it in the video description and edit that, but I guess they don't want to do that.

That's a plus for me, one gets to start with the "clean slate", no mildew, stale smoke, mysterious pet stains or odors, just clean new furnishings exactly to one's own taste.

That wouldn't bother me. If I was moving into a new "home" I'd rather have new bedding and also pick my own furniture layout.
