the rookie took out the current mvp in the first round of the playoffs man i thought that shit only happened in 2k on my career mode
Jr Swisher sweet 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jr Swisher sweet so true 😂😂
His supporting cast shit the bed and they had a coaching mismatch.
Kevin O'Brien Mitchell probably be the next league's best player tbh
Lmao Thunder were having a competition at the end to see who can brick the most game winners😂😂😂
Yo Mammas Boo lmao true
Wolves bandwagon fan since 1998 😂😂😔
W
Refs blew the game on 2 PG threes at the end
Strawman no they just choose not to bail him out. He knew he was bricking all night so he tried to play the refs but them niggas told him "nah"😂😂😂
Carmelo Anthony did nothing this season
As expected... Lol
The coaching staff failed. He could easily average 20-25 points right now in a solid system, unlike the Thunder, who don't have a system
When you throw him in a system like this yes he’ll do nothing. This dude was a ball handler and the first scoring option in NYC now he’s the third.
Sky King I'm talking about a good team
Nope its not about the coaching staff, its about the player you have and their skill, if the players cant pass the ball or create some ball movement as a team, coaching staff cant do shit, and melo is clearly someone that doesnt induce ball movement.
I'm a thunder fan and instead of hating Donavan Mitchell I respect this kid so much more I was convinced he would fold under pressure being a rookie but he went out and played his best I hope this kid goes out to win multiple championships and MVP's!!
Matthew Wiseley I’m a Jazz fan and I appreciate your class man. I know this is a tough one to swallow. OKC played their hearts out right to the end and I respect them for that. Don’t worry I feel that OKC’s day will soon come. #goodseries #GOJAZZ
Matthew Wiseley .. your e so bright and a lot of respect to his coach aswell it takes a big heart to trust players and allow them enough playing time.. he has absolute faith in D Mitchell even when his start was shaky kept playing him
Finally a respectful okc fan 👏🏼
carlos lopez shit you Jazz fans started the whole disrespectful comments first.. Getting salty cause of a series win.. All I seen was Jazz fans talking trash.. Fuck it.. Every fan base talks shit win or lose..
Love this kid, he has mad skills
Kevin Durant, James Harden and now Victor Oladipo are Top NBA players. If you wanna be an All Star, just leave OKC
Rockets wants Adams to become a perfect team!
Legit af 😂
Tony Luna he wasn't winning anything with that trash franchise
Westbrook next . huh lol
*leave westbrook
This guy Mitchell is going to be mvp soon he is classic and have confidence.not afraid of any big man or opponents.but without Rubio against Rocket would be hard for Utah.
what happened with rubio?
Any update on Rubio?
you know damn well Utah is going home. The question is are they going down swinging(winning 1 or 2) or not(getting swept)?
Radhee James Jazz in 5
i was wondering who would give the rockets a better run for their money. i was hoping the thunder would win the series but they just looked pathetic throughout the series. russ and pg iso the entire game is not beating the rockets. i'd like the jazz to be competitive but they seem to be another minnesota-like team that can't score enough points.
Mfs thought they were getting Hoodie Melo, but instead got Turtleneck Melo 😂😂
JustDavidTV 😂😂😂😂 that was savage!! he sure did look like one tho..
You had me weak af
Hahahaha
Bro dude is a veteran......he knew the refs where against them and were not gonna allow them to win ....so he just became a zombie. He knows the business .......but Westbrook is and always will be a try hard so he started jacking up threes every time because that’s all he could do when the refs allow the defense to ride ur hip and hand check. Disgusting game with crooked refs controlling every aspect.
😂
Paul George spent the 2nd half thinking, "hmm, I wonder where I will be playing next year?"
Music Power but everybody know he ain’t leaving
lol he's not going anywhere with that fat contract
Curly Top he'll opt out his 28m per year contract so even when pg leaves the thunder is just so fucked right now with the salary cap
Curly Top Russ got out played by a ROOKIE point gaurd. Let that sink in for a minute.
Curly Top They got one round further than your Thunder lol. Go to sleep troll.
Think that was a foul on PG but Mitchell is unstoppable.
Mitchell > Westbrick
Not even debatable.
Make Humanity Great Again boy
Make Humanity Great Again idk what your smoking lol
He's a young Russel Westbrook
That's why Russel had 46 points and Mitchell 38. He is not even close to westbrook but he could be like him or even better
Jae Crowder looks like a happier camper in Utah then he did with Cleveland. He seems to have better confidence playing for the Jazz as well. Good win Jazz
RayRaySoShy cause they don't iso all game and they all play defence...cavs system is hot trash. All the players they traded played better after the trade
Channing frye sucks still
Frank Ilem he doesnt suck, he's fucking old you dumb bitch.
They play as a team in Jazz. Back in Cavs he only plays to add more number in LeBron's assists.
That young man with the number 45 on his back should be ROTY and an allstar next season.
Da Viz he’s on the map now, I’m not sure everybody knew who he was earlier in the year. He wasn’t talked about like Ben Simmons or Lonzo. Easy all star, everybody loves this kid he’ll get the votes
East/West coast bias. He has arrived big time. Now he gets schooled in the next round, but takes good notes for next season.
Da Viz can’t base ROTY off playoffs comment should be on a regular season video 🤣But I would definitely agree with you. But Ben Simmons took the 76ers who aint been shit since A.I extremely far in the regular season. It would be nice if Donovan was Finals MVP but nobody gettin past my 🚀
Don’t worry, he can get ROTY next year, they give them two years now.....
Donovan became the second player after prime Derrick Rose that excites me so much and even more. Wish Donovan to be champion!!!(Sorry for any grammar errors I am Greek)
YOU're Greek? Shouldnt you be pulling for Giannis Antetokounmpo?
swifftouch I like Antetokounmpo but I prefer more explosive players
bubble butt
R u a racist or something
Ben Simmons blew a one year rookie lead
mav stevens shit
mav stevens BAHAHAHAHAHA. Oooof I remember Donovan wearing a hoodie with the definition of rookie. Im dead.
Lowkey lol
mav stevens it's a regular season award fam none of this matters unfortunately
How did he blow it? He's gonna make an all nba team and should've been an all star and his team won their series in 5 games. Not like the award matters at all after the first year, especially when he's gonna be all nba as well. But it's a regular season award.
Aye we'll see yall next year aight ?
-Donovan Mitchell
Donovan called it 😂 this kid got 38 points 🔥
Joan Gutierrez dudes a psychic
Joan Gutierrez your gay😂😂😂
Joan Gutierrez Hes the next Kobe 👀
Thatyoung Boy16 salty okc fan 😂
Thatyoung Boy16 *you're
I'm not gonna say this again.
Donovan Mitchell > Ben Simmons
Stats lie, moments like these don't.
simmons is doing the same thing in the east did u forget that lol
VMiguel Gonzales moments like making it out of the first round? Yeah I wonder if Ben Simmons will ever do that
VMiguel Gonzales W
zee boo he has embiid and hella shooters in the weak ass east fuck outta here
Auc 2.0 gobert is the best defensive player in the nba and rubio is the KING of triple doubles, but the main difference is simmons has a chance to actually make the finals this year and mitchell is going out next round
Donovan Mitchell’s is the rookie of the year! IDGAF. The Jazz were 19-28 at the beginning of 2018, and went on MULTIPLE 10+ winning streaks. This man outplayed the reigning MVP, and sent him home as a ROOKIE. Donovan did it with his team. Yes Gobert is huge, but games like against the Suns, Pelicans, and Spurs shows Donovan’s dominance. Ben Simmons literally has an ALL-STAR on his team. Think about that. #MyROTY
Mitchell is amazing but simmons is without a doubt the better player by far. I think they should both get co rookie of the year though.
Javian Johnson Mitchell has the higher ceiling. U see his moves???
Hair Jordan exactly man I love watching Donovan bruh
BEN, ROY All day.
mitchell is roty theres no fucking debate, not after seeing this series.
"Thunder are built for the playoffs"
Yup, they are built for the playoffs.... built to be first round exits in the playoffs that is
“The big 3” 😂
carlos lopez yes in the big three there is russel westbrook russel westbrook and finally russel westbrook
King of the noob 99 factz
A team full of iso-players aren't meant to be a championship-caliber team, perfect example in this series.
Nost facts! I think rockets will get exposed too this series. Rockets number 1 iso team in the nba
iVince905 but they could always switch back into the super fast paced 3 team from last tear
It's gonna be a great series to watch
iVince905 the difference is rockets have shooters to pass to when they iso, the thunder don’t
Teamwork/System trumps talent. The thing is that Houston and Golden State have teamwork and talent. I'll be happy if my Jazz can get a game against Houston
Mitchell is officially not human
Korzemba video incoming
Trolling his two younger bust sons
Wilt was not human
Kawawa bwhahaahaha
Lavar Ball Hes a good player but they'll learn when they get swept by Houston. Not a rockets fan btw.
Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Ibaka...team couldn't win
Westbrook, George, Melo, Adams...team couldn't win
What do these two talented teams have in common?
“Billy Donovan needs to be fired”
do you even watch basketball
snakes
Westbrook with a low iq
Interesting no one here talks about Jazz who were playing as a team whole year ...all talk is about that 3 "all stars"
dzonikg i picked Jazz to win against the thunder in an obvious upset. Westbrick sunk the team.
Fock GooglePlus Bruh Westbrook carried that team... well atleast tried to so i cant really blame the man.
Fock GooglePlus he scored 40+ points that game wdf do you mean and that shot when pg drew the foul at the end wasn't called...
YUGOSLAVIAN FLAG!!!
Westbrook was building a damn house under the rim with all this brick ass shots he was taking
Donovan Mitchell was on fire 🔥🔥🔥 the rookie outplayed veteran allstars Russel Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. Very impressive series. Looking forward to see more of this. Sad day for the OKC Thunder fans though.
‘But... but... okc is built for the playoffs’ 😂😂😂
cool dreams I love how you assume I’m a jazz fan. Lol and it doesn’t matter if they get swept next round or not cos we all assumed this pathetic okc team could make it past a team where their best player is a fucking rookie. 😂😂😂
cool dreams mmmm idk man it’s gonna be tough jazz a pretty good team coming from a rockets fan
Kristoff Markson ok ? The warriors couldn’t even sweep the spurs and they didn’t have kawhi Leonard but most everyone saying the warriors will win it all ?
M Talax how about salty dumb bitch?
cool dreams look how quiet you is now lol
It´s funny that many just say that the no call in the end is the reason, why they lost. I mean, PG was 2-16 for example. Y´all talk as if this call decided the whole series. OKC played bad in almost every single game (compared to what their potential is).
TBLunofficial not only that but the rest were favoring OKC and Games 1 through 5. OKC had plenty of opportunity.
TBLunofficial wpoòppju07p2
Donovan Mitchell is the future of nba
Yeah he is. He’s really special. Teams kicking themselves right now:
76ers (though to be fair, their squad is solid. But can you imagine Mitchell as SG on that team??)
Lakers
Suns
Magic
Bulls
Knicks
Blazers (as usual)
Hornets
Pistons
Should be rookie of the year, legit rookie too.
Anything Viral true but Simmons had one year to see how the game flows even on the sidelines..
How prepare for a game..
Scouting reports on players..
I mean he was basically an Intern for one year and not to mention some offseason workouts with the King himself Lebron he had it setup but when you talk a rookie straight from the draft to the league I mean my “goodness “Mitchell is just something else I truly believe he should be rookie of the year..nothing against Simmons he’s a beast himself..
I for one did protest when Blake got the award as well.
True
Damn on their plane ride back to okc it’s gonna be hella Quiet😂
Matthew Allen nun but phones tapping screens lol
Westbrook won't shut up
Melo be dreamin bout his miss shots
Remember when people were saying that OKC wasn’t a regular season team, that they were built for the playoffs and the playoffs alone. LMAO 😂😂😂
43 shots for Westbrook, holy shit.. this guys points mean nothing
On 40 shots, lol It's like people praising Kobe for scoring 60 after 50+ shots. Or Iverson doing similar stuff. This kind of hero ball attitude don't belong in this sport. It's nice to watch, but a cancer at the same time.
makes no sense if your teammates are ass and only you can score look at future hof melo and pg trash ass smh there is no objectivity in these comments and just say dumb shit for the fuck of it
U understand that that is not far from 50 percent right
R Kobe was 37 when he took 50 shots to get 60 and it was his last game in the NBA. He wasnt making the playoffs and he still hit the game winner. Westbrick is in the PLAYOFFS and actually shot worse from the field than Kobe did
R the difference between Kobe and westbrick, is Kobe could finish games that actually mattered. He was real clutch, not regular season clutch. Don't ever compare Kobe to westbrick again.
Even the Jazz 's coach thought it was a foul at the end of the game on paul george😤
GBT exactly he drew contact while shooting, they do it all the time , but they all of a sudden didn’t wanna call it tonight
Fuckin bullshit , cause jazz never been in a playoff in like years , refs wanna see n help them take it all the way .
Hmm that's funny because the refs didn't think it was... they said he jumped sideways kind like a flop.
Thtboi Kt maybe the commissioner called before the game saying "I want the Thunder eliminated tonight..."
It was a foul, but George lifted his pivot foot to create the contact. Travel should have been called first, so the no call is okay.
5:35 I mean, is this kid really a rookie though? God damn!!!!
Westbrook 18-43 41% and 7-19 3PT
PG 2/16 at 5 PTS and 8 AST
Melo 3/7 at 7 PTS
OKC's combined shooting 39.8%
Its disgusting to look at.
HOLLAHfoDOLLAH Damn 2 out of 16... awful
Must be even more-so to compile and publish...
The “MVP” got eliminated by a rookie, Spanish conquistador, and a used car salesman
Javian Johnson no by the refs dumbass
Spanish conquistadors not even play much this game and they still took an L. Lol
He had 45 points the hell you talking about kid
Pac 43 shots. That's terrible.
Black AltRight technically he did play, so...
Westbrook got nice stat. Mission accomplished.
Lol ,he should've hit more shots
He played well Paul should have hit more shots
Mitchell the only one that didn't look like a rookie in this game...
jessineizzloi only one? .....his whole team was performing too
jessineizzloi gobert? Alec burks? Royce? What are you even talking about??
Nah nah I ain't serious, just tryna give my man Mitchell credits for taking the charge in the 4th quarter despite being a rookie
Blame it to your "REIGNING" MVP who went for an unstoppable 40/40 night.. 😂😂😂
40+ points on 40+ shots..
cuz pg was helping with 5 points shooting what 13% from the floor
and yet they were in it even til the end...it was not enough D....
Isn’t 40 points on 40 shots 50 percent...
😂😂😂
@Adam Fitzsimmons if it was only 2-pointers and no free throws you would have a point but that's not the case here :P
Difference of westbrook and any other pgs is that a typical pg tends to make his team mates better and more productive. Westbrook's consecutive triple doubles and this game's 46 baskets won't matter
Harden makes his team to be more productive by giving the ball to an open man.
Same to LeBron.
Kyrie's absence forced his team mates to step up.
GSW handled 1 round of playoffs without curry.
Westbrook can win it if being an effecient individual player counts.
But this is a team sport.
lalalas gud because nobody is stepping up! moron
Out Ofthisworld yeah carmelo and pg scored single digit this game. But I was talking about westbrook compared to the other aces of every team.
I get what you're saying, but i feel like Westbrook's mentality is "If no one else is going to make shots, i'm going to have to make all of them." Whether that is good or bad, people keep talking about how the Thunder was supposed to be this power house, but honestly, none of the new players really stepped up. Paul George had a few good games, but over-all, he didn't produce half as well as people expected. He was given the minutes to come in as a primary ball handler almost every game and pretty much choked. Paul George's inconsistency has been a big issue this season. Carmelo Anthony has also had a terrible impact on the team. He can't defend most of the starting 4's in the NBA, can't hit a wide open shot, and didn't even act like he wanted to win at all. I think too much emphasis has been put on Westbrook. He's had a really good season and try's to get his teammates good looks. He doesn't play the highest IQ basketball sometimes, but no one man can beat a team 4 times by himself. Conclusion: Paul George is too inconsistent to work for OKC and Carmelo Anthony plays like trash in the Thunder's system. We would be much better off with a team of consistent role players.
Gaven Marlow yeah it should have been okc vs jazz. But this series seems to be a match between westbrook and jazz. MVP performance from westbrook but not a playoffs performance from his team mates
lalalas gud 18-43, "MVP Performance" lmao gtfo
I think I can officially say...
*Thunder first round exits CONFIRMED* 😂😂😂😂
Feel bad for Aquaman need a new team
Edit: but i think he ain't wanted to get trade cause he's loyal for okc
you mean is steven adams ?
he should come to the bucks. they need a center. henson is... not the best of players'
Kept getting his man bun alley oppd on FUCK HIM
U see now he also gonna leave that bum... westbrick is really a negative energy.
W
The Utah Jazz earned the win. They played as a cohesive team. OKC has their issues. I'm not even going to go into it because it is obvious. But the no call on Paul George's 3pt shot was unacceptable. Shameful.
Elann Suvat no if ref does their job and calls foul dude possibly makes 3 free ties game and the thunder might win with a game 7 back at thunders home. We got cheated as fans of NBA Highlights
Elann Suvat I agree but there were other shameful calls and no calls in the game that favored OKC. One of the OKC players took like 6 steps without a dribble and wasn't called for a travel. I think the officiating in general was pretty bad but it did hurt both teams.
Bryant McMillan but that last no call was clear corruption that ended a teams season and our right to know who would really win NBA finals. Refs cheated us all on purpose. They can't say they didn't see it. The whole world saw it down by 3 with 18 seconds or so left. Not fair comparison you made
It should never have had to come down to a ref judgement in the end if you claim to be the superior team.
EvolutionRevolution so they have to blow the same team out or their not allowed to go to the next round? Nonsense man. Refs decided their season and that is Bullcrap. I'm not a fan of thunder just a fan of Truth
Rookie taking down 3 future hall of famers wow!!! 🔥 🔥
kawhi Injury management Leonard refs took them down actually. Mitchell has to be bailed out by the refs every night
Kick Rocks yeah but his overrated ass will get into HOF as soon as he joins lakers
*1
What did westbrook have??
Austin White you high or just plain dumb? Have you seen OKC's FG%? Damn, stop smoking that shit
43 shots for 46 points, well done Russ, for Jazz 😂😂😂
Big Sauceboi X did u watch the game?
Yes we can blame him too
George jumped into Gobert sideways, so they wouldn't call that. If Gobert went straight at him than it would have been a foul call. They changed that rule because of D-Wade and players over using it
Usher More exactly
It was contact on the shot REGARDLESS!!! He should be shooting free throws anyways Rudy jumped and made contact with him.
Gained a lot of respect for Donovan Mitchell
give him some time to improve his game more during the off season and he will be unstoppable
Donovan Mitchell... this kid has HEART... didn't ALLOW OKC to come back in third... Go Donovan Go!!!
Shout out to the whole Jazz team actually LOL! They just had BIGGER BALLS. "See y'all next year." 😂 😂 😂
And how did it end? Lol
I said the THIRD quarter. Learn to read!
that Mitchell, HES THE REAL DEAL. THE NBA IS LOOKING BRIGHT WITH ALL THESE NEW STARS.
Hoodie Melo my ass he's only good at practice lol
Cliff Villanueva wasn't wearing a hoodie
Cliff Villanueva ahahahahaha..true
We talk about *PRACTICE*
yaahh ahahaha
Never was able to get a rhythm. He’s a rhythm scorer. Can’t get that when you barely touch the ball.
OKC fans.....
1. Blame the coach.
2. Blame the bench for no production
3. Blame the refs.
4. Westbrook has no help
Westbrook is never going to win with his attitude.
Andrew Leigh pg13 actually got fouled beyond the arc two times in two consecutive possession, thats why theyre blaming the refs
Totally agree Westbrook is never going to win with that attitude.
Did you know? You can get cancer from hating
Sounds like LeBron fans. You sure?
Wing Kan Lo no that was a replay lmaaaooo
My boy harden bout to light up the jazz
46 points on 43 shots. MVP mode.
ace acep
Paul George 5 points and horrible shot percentage, while turning the ball over and being afraid to shoot
ace acep
Blame Pushoff p not Westbrook..Without Westbrook carrying, the thunder get beaten by over 20
Nick Foles #GOAT #FATHERFIGURE #MANOFGOD maybe just maybe if they turns in handling and not just westbrick, they wouldve had a better chance of winning.
PG lack of wanting to win due to weakbrick wants to show his the man for thunder
ace acep
Westbrook passed the ball to everyone multiple times.... But they wouldn't shoot, they just kept passing it back.. What do you do when you're teammates can't shoot and won't shoot? Him and Adams are the only reason this wasn't a blowout.. What about this can you not understand?
I know how you ppl say that only RW showed up, but I mean... Have you guys ever played with a player that literally would pass the ball to you out of desperation and would expect to get it back to jack up his own shot every single time? I did, and I stopped playing offense after the first quarter, only played D, and the dude only realized it halfway through the third quarter. That is RW in a nutshell. I would hate to play with a player like him, and I think most stars do too. He is an incredible talent and a horrendeous decision maker. As long as he is a PG, they aint winin shit.
Dats not wat happened at all. Pg relied on others & was scared of takin ova which was all Russ was doin
Finally a down to earth comment.
John H He took over too much to the point it was never gonna go anywhere with how hard he was trying
Somebody get this guy...cause he didn't watch this game
Should have been an SG
#Dubs
#Lakers
LeBron and Melo were in the same draft class. Goes to show u how good LBJ is. Cuz Melo is a G League Player now
Rip OKC 7 shot attempts and couldn't tie the game wow
WHAT A GAME. Congrats to Jazz fans and Donovan Mitchell is an absolute stud!
Ryan Dupont thank you although I have Houston in 5 over my jazz
Joseph White you gotta believe though. Jazz are licking their lips to play the rockets. Hopefully it’s gunna be a good series
True I hope we win though
Tbh y'all have some of the most passionate fans in the entire NBA. People don't give you guys credit because its a smaller market
Ryan Dupont nope right now I am a jazz fan in baltimore I am the only jazz fan here
Wow, Russell Westbrook actually did better when he was by himself than when he did when he had help.
Wasn't it a first round exit last year too? I remember because he lost to Harden's Rockets. It was like the NBA put the MVP hopefuls in a match to prove who's better.
That Harden lost in the very next round to the Spurs who were missing Kawhi kind of ruins what respect he'd built up though.
Yeah, team wise they did better, but they only won one more game in the regular season & playoffs (won 2 instead of 1) than last they did last year. Winning one more game than last year with a big three is not really successful, the Thunder were supposed to at least make it to the semi-finals and only lose to either Golden State or the Rockets in game 7.
Individually, Russell Westbrook wasn't in the top three of the mvp race this year, he had better numbers overall, he hit more game winners, won mvp, and etc last year.
Big Sauceboi X Kobe did that all the time and people call him a legend. Kobe once took 47 shots and had 41 points.
Kobe had no choice a lot of the times. When he had help he moved the ball , Westbrook plays with a legit 2nd and 3rd option and still chucks up terrible shots
buttkicker900 kobe had no help in 2002 when he had that game? Lmao.
Westbrooks sensitive ass headed straight to the locker room without even shaking the other teams hands. Poor sportsmanship.
to be fair though, only him and Adams showed up in this game...where were CHOCKERS PG and Anthony?
Johnny B arrogant player = exit in 1st round
Karpov Liam
In boxing you have to knock someone out and go 12 rounds. Russ is always the one BEING knocked out in the first round.
Yea and he started attacking the fans on the way... Good player but a bad loser
thats westbrooks, I'm not surprised.
*What “BIG 3???”*
*Are You Talking About Mitchell, Ingles, And Gobert???*
*Shoutout To Mitchell Man He’s A Great Player! I’m Happy For Him!!!*
FACTS
STEALZ NBA Mitchell is deadly af.
Yep the Utah big three for sure
*Don’t Forget About Ricky Rubio😂😂😂*
Called bad calls ur team finna get swept
Russel Westbrook is like the ascended super saiyan. Big, buff and strong but is still not a useful form lol.
Curry is the mastered ultra instinct and Rondo is the super saiyan god.
VMiguel Gonzales nah Russ is more like Vegeta.. Does all that training to be the best and win matches... But always comes up short 😂...
VMiguel Gonzales kids...
VMiguel Gonzales Westbrook is the nba's broly
VMiguel Gonzales Curry already won the Injury Player of the Year award
Are crazy Russ is the man!!! Love his game
*Welcome to LAL PG13*
yall can have him
NBA NATION they do not want his weak in ass laker
Lakers r always trash but okay...........
Good luck on lottery team Pg we aint gonna miss ya
Lonzo is a bust. Why would he want to move to with trash team like lakers.
When your built for warriors but meet the Mormgod
If okc had Roberson this series would've been a lot of different
Ildelbram Mateo yeah and if Melo was never traded for Kanter.
DONT LET THIS DISTRACT YOU FROM THE FACT WESTBROOK took 43 shots !!!
Sub Zero and scored more than a half on OKC's total points
Lets go Thunder he's fortunate if he took most of the shoots
Donovan mitchell is the 13th pick? LOL to lakers! You missed out on a generational talent.
nah they got lonzo, kuzma, and josh hart this draft. they fine
like Samo said it before me, Lonzo, Hart, Kuzma in one draft? Lakers didnt miss on anything man. Donovan is maybe the best player on that draft, but still, Lakers select 3 promissing young players.
Kobe was also a 13th pick.
confusecian nah we got Hart, kuzma, ball and 16 NBA champions. FOH
Scott Summers you know it sounds desperate when you have to bring in past accomplishments to justify why the lakers currently suck lol btw you didnt do shit. The lakers did.
Hey Russ, how you feel losing to a team led by a rookie when you had 2 all stars on your team?
k3n12ock eat shit
another year, different teammates, westbrook stay losing in the first round.
From a rockets fan ! Respect to Westbrook he never gives up. Paul George wtf was he doing. Paul going to stay in okc because them losing was his faults 2-16 5 points. GG okc get rid of melo. My rockets gone sweep
Nope rockets in 5 timberwolves won a game jazz are better then them
Kenneth Fields we need to release melo and get somebody that won’t be a bum all season long😡😡😡
Thatyoung Boy16 no trade clause homie lol. You’re stuck with him
Mitchell is special. I think no player has made as much of an impact as him on their team except for James Harden during the playoffs so far. Offensive beasts. Really fun to watch. No discredit to Simmons, he is also very special.
Doovan mitchell is the rookie of the YEAR . Point Blank, Dude straight Balled out
that was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. George was CLEARLY fouled, I have no idea why the refs didn't call that.
Zach Smelser got the defender in the air with his fake but leaned in and jumped into the defender. watch it repeatedly in slow mo and close up.50/50 call in end of game situations.
Ya you can't lean in to draw contact.
Get ur b-ball iq up ......look up fiba refs training vid for basketball here on RUclips.....the defender leaves his feet in a forward motion towards the offensive player who has yet to take his shot after the head fake .....regardless of him leaning towards the defender the offensive player is granted a safe place to land but no defender can Control any amount of space because he is moving tat way ........when offense goes up defender is closing in ......it always has to be a defensive foul........this is why they teach never leave your feet as a defender unless umJUMP STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN HE MOVED FORWARD WHILE OFFESNE GOES UP THEY MAKE CONTACT OFFENSE SHOULD ALWAYS WIN THAT CALL
Then where was the whistle? Rudy jumped to his left not right at PG. PG then leaned right with his shot. That's the the ref didn't call it. Also fix your period key I think it's broken.
Sooooo excited to see Mitchell in future seasons. He is a legend in the making. Really think OKC deserved to win this series. They played badly in the first few games and thats what caused their downfall. Only reason I want the Thunder to win is because I want an interesting playoff run against the Rockets, and let's face it, the Jazz don't stand a chance against them.
Don’t say shit about that Paul (let me jump into this man hip to get free shots) George shot, they had plenty of chances to win it at the end and just couldn’t pull through.
Trivone Jackson it's ok. it was pg13's of saying I'd rather go to the Lakers! Thanks Utah!
idk man. Ive seen alot worse get called. That one shoulda been called easily
so? still a reason for not calling a foul?
Pit Zampraas last 30 sec in the game and he initiated contact sideways into a player, those calls go 50/50 in NBA 🤷🏿♂️, even then still had 8 other chances to scored a basket
RatigansIsland I agree with you bro but the fact he jumped sideways into him is why I think he didn’t get it, if he just shit straight up he might’ve got it, 50/50 call
westbrook 46 pts
rest of "team" 45 pts
Fall George 12% from the field 0-6 3pt 45 minutes and wants a max contract #big2 #thunderup
Tell the rest of the story , he shot 43 times and 19 3s 😂
would rather have him take 43 and 19 threes than fall George
where did I ever say that I would have russ take more shots than adams? and if you watched the last minutes of the game westbrook was forced to shoot because his teammates were doing NOTHING to get a good look for themselves if russ didn't take that many shots it woulda been like game 5 with no comeback
and the plays where people were open in those final minutes he passed it to them
Man!!! They GETTING OFF, RIGHT OFF THE GATES!! This is the best 1st round matchup and by far this is the most intense game; I mean from a scale of 1-10 to open this game it was about an 8. This is superlative playoff basketball at it's finest. Westbrook is the epitome of RELENTLESS!!!!
Congrats to the Jazz Donovan Mitchell is a beast.
Isaac M he really is dude! Super athletic and crafty. That 7ft wingspan of his is so unfair lol.
8:58
Even the Jazz coach knew that PG got fouled. Feel for Westbrook though, dude single-handedly kept them in the game.
Guess you didn't see the multiple airballs from 30 ft Or the multiple turnovers at crucial moments. 😒😕
Karpov Liam Kobe once took 47 shots and had 41 points.
Karpov Liam 86 Shot attempts? Tf are you talking about his field goal % was 47 that doesn’t even sound right
Wait till KD comes back..
VMiguel Gonzales with what 2 millions the season ?
VMiguel Gonzales shut up because your ass team of Okc just went fishing
F u
No,his a traitor
2nd not coming to okc ass
Donovan Mitchell reminds me of Kobe. Maybe I'm biased as a Lakers fan but his energy and skill is similar. Don't take that as me saying he was a better ball handler or player...
Kylan Joseph he’s more Wade than Kobe if you look at his skill set and build
WADE 2.0
Kylan Joseph to me he's a hybrid of Lillard and westbrook (especially Lillard)
Yeah. He definitely has Wade 's passing skil ls. Like I said prob my bias.
PG going to the Lakers
WB going 🎣in a lake
And Melo need to go jump in a lake😂😂
The scariest part is that Donovan Mitchell and Ben Simmons are nowhere near their prime yet. The NBA is growing better and better
Lakers fans salivating at this game
Lakers wants Kawhi, but he will stay, sorry
Lakers would get bounced by any team with PG13 in the playoffs. Even the Blazers and Timberwolves.
You sure? PG had a horrendous game
not sure i would want pg on my team after this lackluster performance
I don't think Lakers fans would want PG13 on their team for the way he played. PG13 doesn't have what it takes to be a leader of a team as showed when he was with the Pacers and now this team. You know something isn't right about PG13 if his former team that has Oladipo (a former Thunder player) forced a Game 7 on fucking LBJ's Cavaliers team. Come on now...
Those bunch of offensive rebounds at the end and cant convert a shot. Wow! But im not sure with the no call.
ekim lonamaga not an okc fan... but that was definitely a foul...
ahahaha my utah is in ahahahaha BURN OKC
They have like 5 chances. Damn!
This so-called rule is ruining the game, players are not trying to shoot the basket, but just trying to draw fouls, in this case, PG should have waited until Gobert land and shoot the ball, but he did not care about scoring at all, was looking only for a foul call, and look at Harden the master of this skill...exploit skill...
Fuck that. In game 5 they bailed out okc with bullshit calls.
I'm a Sixers fan but DM is showing that he's the real deal man...can shoot 3s can play above the rim...and can carry a team on his back...for me he should be the ROY
Paul George leaving thunder confirmed
L
Francisco Cortez L
nka bwesit ang reffery biase
Ag3ntinfamous lmao he had like 5 points
Ag3ntinfamous he not going to the bum ass Lakers but he leaving okc he should
Westbricks legacy is completely destroyed.
8:57 watch the head coach for the jazz drop his head the moment Golbert jumps on paul george's pump fake and fouls him because he's so disappointed...so the opposite team's coach saw the foul, but the three refs didn't? interesting...
I've lost a lot of respect for Westbrook. Biggest game of the season and you take half of the shots. OH and others probably couldn't even get going because of him. And then the lack of sportsmanship near the end. Now I understand why Durant left. Just my opinion tho
Kylan Joseph I agree. How are the rest of the team get going when you keep holding onto the ball?
Hmm...Westbrook was the only one that showed up. PG and Melo were hosting a brick party. I am sure Westbrook would love to distribute more if Pushoff P and Crapmelo are hitting their shots.
You didn’t watch the game did you?
Yang Sam 18-43 isn’t showing up , why is he shooting 19 3s
Wolves bandwagon fan since 1998 43 shots bruh. No justification for that. Not only is this by far the biggest L of westbrick career, but this has to be the biggest for kd aside from chip and finals MVP. He proved a comment he liked to be true.
Playoff P : 5 points
Pushoff P 🤣
It's difficult when your point guard takes 40+ shots...
2-16 tho
I love these highlight vids
We do not have to watch all the pausing and drama, just ball
I called it on my bracket. what a series though. Jazz will make things hella interesting for the Rockets. #MitchellROTY #JazzRockets
syxxgames hell no! Rockets in 4
I didn't have the Jazz winning the series against the Rockets. I got them going all the way.
no they wont. its over in 4
Westbrook an Adams are the only ones who turned up tonight. Seemed as though PG lacked confidence, Melo is washed up I swear he can't defend and he doesn't make open shots. How did PG not get those two three point calls at the end. These refs are poor af man. This is disgraceful.
People going to say " Russ shot 18/43 he is so inefficient" but he pretty efficient in the first three quarters. In the 4th he took a few crazy shots but he also got us back in the game. Russ will be russ man. Melo needs to be traded.
would be better if Westbrook didnt turn up. Selfish player and no idea about team chemistry.
trade westbrook, and Adams can do better~like 20/15 per game
Westbrook will either be the reason why they win..or the reason the lose. He taking too many shots bro. Confused as to why some of you think he's the best PG
Jamar Layne Grant played more minutes than Melo (only 25 minutes) and made the same amount of shots. Abrines played 20 minutes and score 0 points. PG13 went 2-16, and Westbrook took 43 shots, while the bench scores 12 points, but somehow that’s all Melo’s fault right? Smh. A lot of y’all on here with no basketball knowledge.
Yeaaah. Melo was guarding a legit power forward. Not much he could really do.
this series was so damn fun to watch man
Chokelahoma coming up short, again.
ProdigalExplorer 6 FT stolen from the Thunder at the end. Refs decided this at the end.
+Spencer Doupe Gobert had a phantom foul called on him in game 5 for literally raising his hand. Ya'll have no room to talk about refs. Fuck all these whiny ass OKC fans. Ya'll act just like your daddy Westbrook. Good look in the offseason lmaooooo
ProdigalExplorer Pffft...in all reality Carmelo cost the thunder this series. Refs Definetly screwed them tho at the end smh. That's some b.s. to let the series end on a no call that should've been a foul.
Harrison Nguyen Gobert got catered to by the refs all series long dude. Jazz ain’t going past the second round anyway. Just shut the hell up. Sorry for being an upset fan.
ProdigalExplorer nobody choked it was a good game
OKC is the new Lakers with Kobe, Howard and Nash, big 3 but a bad team
Spider Man IQ 😂
Joe Ingles is nasty
Not an OKC fan...but Westbrook earned my respect ...he almost singlehanded brought them the W, but his team looked like they quit ...OKC has some tough decisions ahead of them..
Dude a total ball hog learn more basketball kid
Love or hate westbrook, you gotta respect the guy for Playing his heart out in the most important game of the series. He's the only one that showed up. Can't say the same for PG though, he absolutely choked(even though he got CLEARLY fouled on the last play) ..Meanwhile Carmelo Anthony is just UTTER GARBAGE. I mean straight trash and bum juice. Literally did NOTHING all series long. Dude averaged 11 points ALL series long. Pitiful
Manny P they is a difference between playing your heart out and playing smart. I'll think I will play smart.
kasimk4 i was about to say that...lol americans like leaving movies...id rather a player who uses his brain first then heart later thn jjst a player who gives his energy in the wrong direction
Manny P its a team sport... westbrook cant handle teamsports... carmelo and pg are not trash... different styles of play and westbrook as a point guard his job would be to fix them for easy shots... play pick n roll with carmelo and adams regularly and give george space for his iso more... westbrook is stupid... passionate to win but stupid...
He's playing dumb
He fought hard, though maybe not smart... I had more to add but now all I see is the term “bum juice” and the giggles are keeping me from braining. Hahahahahaha You are my hero.
Mitchell earned super star status last night. Torched Mello, PG 13 and Westbrook. Congratulations Jazz 🏀👍💯
I feel bad for Russ, he tries so hard but he can't see how much cancer he is producing, i played with people like him and is da most boring and annoying thing ever. IQ is so important in bball. so what if u dropped 40? when Curry drops 40 he does it in a way dat kills da other team, when Russ drop 40 he kills basketball as a sport
Well said, this is a team sport not solo play. I pity those fans that have low basketball IQ that admire low basketball players and keep finding excuses for lost
The Hip-hop Underworld He’s right though. Westbrook took over 40 shots to get around just 40 too. Volume shooting at its best and he’s a player who’s pretty much useless without holding the ball. He has a fierce passion to win but he’s got the completely wrong idea of how to win. Give at least 20 of the 40 shots he took to his teammates (off good passes at least) I guarantee okc would’ve pulled a comeback instead of trying to do everything himself
Kyle Kuzma ROTY IQ ? He almost give his all and passing ability to just inch the lead . and you're saying he has a low basketball IQ ? Hahaha
He made a pretty good point and that is what happen. Russ has no idea how to make others better around him. Paul George and Carmelo have the same problem. Look at the pacers now.
Kyle Kuzma ROTY right he needs to learn that less is more. I feel like he needs to trust his teammates more and not try to do everything
man yall lakers can have fall George
Mitchell reminds me of Wade, fearless in attacking the basket, can finish with either left or right, plus he can shoot 3s. Wade was the reason Shaq picked Miami as a trade destination. I don't know what Utah's salary cap situation is, but I'm pretty sure Utah is now a legit free agent choice this summer regardless how far they get in the playoffs.
Wow, 2 huge no calls on PG attempting 3s. I know the refs swallow whistle in the playoffs but the last attempt Gobert fouled PG. And then the 2 min report tomorrow will probably say something like PG got fouled which does absolutely nothing.
If Billy Donovan has the ball to bench Carmelo after game 3 then maybe the outcome of the series would be different. Melo in the game the Jazz attacked him relentlessly and extend the lead. Melo out of the game the Thunder made a run. Just fucking retire already. Melo’s ego cost the Thunder’s season and presumably PG’s future with the team.
In both attempts Pushoff P was trying to initiate the contact because he knew he was bricking them and wanted to get to FT line like a bitch
OKC had a ton of chances to tie the game, but that doesn’t change the fact that George should’ve been shooting some foul shots.
Yang Sam pg jumped into him , no foul
Yang Sam nothing you can do about it. OKC you next season haha jazz!
Don’t even with this “refs lost the Thunder the game” bullshit. The refs missed a couple calls just before the end of the game that went the Thunders way. It was make-up no call. Not to mentioned the horrible calls against Gobert and Favors in game 5.
