Feldenkrais Retreat

'Retreat' can be defined in the most simplest of terms as a definite time (from a few hours in length to a month) spent away from one's normal life for the purpose of reconnecting
I was working full time in an Acute Stroke Unit here at the base hospital, we can often neglect our needs over that of our clients -- I needed to recharge myself and bring some intension to my practice. Goat Island is a Marine Reserve here in Northland and it is spectacular. I packed up the car and went for the weekend, I couldn't recommend it more.
Retreats for the Self should be a regular occurrence.

I am completing the lesson from an AY manual which are transcripts from some of the first lessons delivered by Moshe Feldenkrais. The book I was writing in is 'The Artists Way' by Julia Cameron a 12 week course in finding your creative self, highly recommend also. Music is by Asaf Avidan. :)
