War and Peace is Dimash's fabulous symphonic/rock composition which he included in his Masters Thesis in 2019. He elected to have the lyrics written in Mandarin and premiered the song at his solo concert in China for the D-Dynasty tour which took it to Russia in 2018/2019. He sang "War and Peace" at the Kiev Ukraine concert and in Moscow, St. Petersberg and Riva in early 2020 right before Covid shut down his Arnau world tour. Quite poignant considering Russia invaded Ukraine not long afterwards. You should watch the video of his Kiev performance.
This was a live performance without audience due to Covid. It was recorded just as many other songs and put together to a digital show. Many had asked for an online concert and we got the digital show. It was fantastic.
Yes I remember being too excited to sleep and stayed up til 3am when it aired in my part of the world. It was the best $15 for 1.5hours I spent online. Totally UNFORGETTABLE. Am forever grateful for his effort to bring some joy into our lives especially during lockdown. So Dimash. He truly is a gift to the world.

Kazakhstan never fought... we regularly get blackmailed/ frightened by russia. Other then that second world war and forced involvement of USSR to Afghanistan. Millions of russians escaped from mobilisation , came to Kazakh land.
