I love how terribly you pronounce the name of the city and state! Quite charming. Good video in any case you're a true wanderer.

Thanks, appreciate that you liked the video. Yes, as the story line goes I was not expecting to do a Vlog there until I got stuck and found how beautiful the city is. You may appreciate this one if you have not watched it as of yet. ruclips.net/video/SkL6ERwM30E/видео.html

I’ve wanted to visit there for years. It’s been geez.. like 6 years since I’ve been to Mexico. And I’ve never been close to Tepoztlan or Mexico City. Your video made me want to visit even more. The people in the places I’ve been in Mexico were some of the nicest, friendliest people I’ve met.

Insulting that you did not bother to learn the pronunciation of this beautiful town, pueblo, not city, nor the pronunciation of the state. Beautiful video though.

Thanks for the reply. Looking back at it, I was off a bit. As the theme goes, it was going to be just the hike and leave. However, with the hike being closed and what a beautiful town it is, I unexpectedly stayed there. I didn't prepare for it at all.

@@hyggetraveler thanks for the honesty! I spend alot of time in Tepoztlan, so may be a bit defensive.

I agree 100% but it has been effective as is. From my Mexico City and surrounding city Vlogs, I have had numerous people tell me they want to visit in the future after viewing them. As the theme goes it was supposed to be one day in and out. However, was I visited the city I feel in love with it and had to do a Vlog. I was not prepared, and cell service was not good to get more information on the city (Note. the reason I got lost the cell service). I also really, really, wanted to talk with locals but, well, this Vlog explains it- ruclips.net/video/SkL6ERwM30E/видео.html

    No. It's not 'Aztec'

Thanks for the clarification. Who knows whom built it, not sure that there is clarification. However, I am going to stick with Aztec temple since it is dedicated to the Aztec god Tepoztecatl.

@@hyggetraveler Cool. (They were the Tlahuica Culture - also Nahuas, like the Mexica/Aztec). Good job! | Cheers.

Tepotzotlán and Tepoztlán are two different places. They are in different states in different climate zones. You are in Tepoztlán, Morelos. Tepotzotlán is in the Edo. de Mexico. You keep pronouncing the name of the latter and not the correct former. Why am I always left wishing the pinches gringos would make a minimal effort to pronounce names correctly? Spanish sounds just like it is written, so it's easy to do it right.
