My KK was working and some of the parts cracked. I replaced them with original parts. I cleaned the filter, checked the hoses and everything is good. When i turn on the pump the KK does not move. If I pull the KK up by the hose it starts to pump and then will start working. I have to pull the hose up so it starts sucking. It worked ok before, is there another part that might be bad?

Hi Josie, I would recommend you checking the following: 1) Is there anything in the top swivel head, this can be see when removing the baffle plate and flow valve and shining a torch up there. Things to look for is long stingy type leaves. 2) Check your baffle plate is properly fitted. This means it is clipped into place with the locating prong protruding through the front of the mainbody housing. Replace this if required. 3) Check your flow valve isn't worn. Replace is required, this can be see visually or if in doubt bring it to a pool shop and compare it to a new one. The reason why 2 & 3 can cause the cleaner to work only sometimes, is the flow valve inside can either move in a circular motion when the baffle plate is loose or it is worn, instead of the back and forth motion. If you have any other issues, please call 1800 777 255.

Had mine for over 12 months, never worked since day 1.Been back to the shop to have some exxess ground off the valve but even after fitting a new pump it barely clicks and wont move. Total rip off.
