***** I can't totally remember, but I would highly recommend that you start the manga from the beginning as the anime missed quite a bit out and I think you'd need to read from the beginning to understand the newer chapters. :)

Then my friend , you must watch more anime. There are so many anime openings out there that are as good. In my case i have many that i like more than this one even though i love this one xp. Ovidiu[RO] they're different beings and from different shows. Nothing is inspired from anything. Yato is a god and Gintoki is a hilarious "request fulfiller". That's all there is to it

They ended noragami with a fight that wasnt in the manga (or atleast im not at that part yet) so it doesnt look like they intended to make a season 2 and just wanted to finish the anime off with their own ending
kazzack245 But they also ended it without resolving a lot of the plot threads and hinting that more was to come, such as Nora dismissing Rabo and hinting at plans to come for getting Yato, and they needed to play out more between Bishamon and Yato, as well as tell the past between Bishamon's main regalia with the glasses and Yato.
bentheechidna It's true they have yet to make ends meet in terms of plot points, but it's not uncommon to see an anime leave off where the manga didnt (P.S I finaly finished the manga and am currently waiting on chapter 45)
This song reminds me of when I was younger and watched Noragami for the first time during a summer. So whenever I hear this I think of childhood covered in a warm ray of sun. Good memories, I love this song still even after a few years since I heard it ☺️

You've not seen many then. Noragami is directly inspired from Gintama and Yato from Gintoki.
Ovidiu[RO] they're different beings and from different shows. Nothing is inspired from anything. Yato is a god and Gintoki is a hilarious "request fulfiller". That's all there is to it
Yato is also a hilarious "request fulfiller" xD. And they both had tragic pasts where they fought on the battlefield and killed many and peaceful presents (almost) where they act as odd jobs for money while taking under their wing other companions (Shinpachi and Kagura, Yukine and Hiyori).

They ended noragami with a fight that wasnt in the manga (or atleast im not at that part yet) so it doesnt look like they intended to make a season 2 and just wanted to finish the anime off with their own ending

But they also ended it without resolving a lot of the plot threads and hinting that more was to come, such as Nora dismissing Rabo and hinting at plans to come for getting Yato, and they needed to play out more between Bishamon and Yato, as well as tell the past between Bishamon's main regalia with the glasses and Yato.
bentheechidna It's true they have yet to make ends meet in terms of plot points, but it's not uncommon to see an anime leave off where the manga didnt (P.S I finaly finished the manga and am currently waiting on chapter 45)
