This is just a well-balanced tune. It has the right amount of drums, bass, and melody. Really good/catchy tune. Kind of reminds me of some older drum and bass.
Exactly. Nice to have that balance. A lot of current DNB lacks in melody which kinda makes it repetitive noise.

@@jakubzamazal if you say so. I’ve been listening to drum and bass and jungle since the mid 90s. This felt excessive at 25% of the full song duration. This is an odd movement I’m seeing in modern electronica across several subgenres. It’s weird. A bit of lead in or a whole track that is lead in is normal and for artists like Dieselboy something to look forward to.

@@TheSparkyBoy24 I know it's bigger, but it's also getting worse in terms of innovation and creativity. Too many producers trying to please the crowd, not making good honest music.
@@gaffenz1137 I wouldn't say its getting worse by any means. The community is so much larger than it was a few years ago, which means that obviously there will be your regular run of the mill mainstream tunes that scream no inspiration, because thats what the vast majority of casual listeners enjoy. Once you actually really get into the genre and the unknown artists you start to realise that DnB is better and more expansive than it's ever been. Artists such as Enei, Monrroe, Pola & Bryson, Disrupta, Whiney, Halogenix etc make music that is entirely unique and creative.
