the true reason is that author just aims to make Boruto stronger than Naruto and he will do everything (some stupid shit included) to make him do it. Accidentally created new rasengan, kara mark that is appearing because Boruto landed last hit (which is absurd too - no father will let his child attack half god creature), him being able to spam summonings without blood contract, him having some "game changing" eye, et cetera. Of course author will always try to make everything logically explained, but the truth behind it will always be the same - he will change Narutoverse and create new possibilities for Boruto to surpass Naruto, even if those possibilities doesn't exist in the past (in Naruto). Sorry my eng is weak so I might wrote wrong. All I mean is that Boruto won't be able to surpass Naruto if author don't CREATE possibilities for that, because in current state of Narutoverse (at least in the state of 1-699 chapters) is impossible to be stronger than Naruto (except Madara and maybe Kaguya). And of course author can't make everything perfect - sometimes his attempts to make Boruto stronger will be done in the wrong way - for example there was no way Boruto could hit momoshiki even a single time, but he did it.Even tho even Naruto had troubles fighting Momoshiki. And don't tell me the reason why Boruto was able to hit Momoshiki is his dojutsu - it doesn't matter how good your eyes are if your body isn't fast enough - one of the first rules narutoverse explained to us via Rock lee. It's Narutoverse's basic rules that are broken now with authors attempts to show how cool Boruto is. And moreover he is nerfing others abilities just to show Boruto in a better way - Sasuke had to absorb Momoshikis shadow jutsu with his rinnengan and keep fighting with Naruto to his side, not to let momoshiki block Naruto and then allow a kid to fight God - there was other Kages and choosing Boruto to kill Momoshiki was the most wrong choice they could ever make. But of course they had to do it so author could give Boruto some stupid ass pulled power. It's the longest comment I have ever write in youtube. and I don't even know why am I doing it. it just gets me every time I see Boruto being able to afck narutoverse with some authors ass pulling.
