Thanks Esther for a very well explained video. It was really very helpful. I hate the noise the singer brilliance makes when its turned on but at least i know now that its not just my machine, its everyone elses too.
I have this machine too and find it absolutely impossible to make a series of identical button holes lined up. Some start early, some have this little extra tails like your last ones do, some start a cm higher than the others, despite putting the gauge in the same place. I have tried every fix I can find. Interfacing, tension changes, resetting the drop down bar between each button hole, making sure I don't touch the machine whilst it makes the hole, and nothing makes it more reliable. I now believe it is impossible to do it and that Singer have put no effort into making this a quality machine. It's really disappointing as I like it otherwise.
Hi dear ,can you please make a video ,about durning buttonhole if the machine not works well .or making problem to create a perfect buttonhole.so what can we do??
Hi Esther, thanks for the video. I have the same machine and new to sewing. I haven't tried to button hole foot yet. I am having problem with bottom thread with the zig zag stitches.
Hi Emefa, please check if your bobbin thread is fixed properly, or the tension of the upper thread or thread the whole machine again. Hopefully one of these helps.
Excellent instruction. Thank you for the video.
